Me and my fiancé have been very disappointed with the foods we had in Florence because it's either they're expensive or they're not satisfying. Good thing, on our last day in Florence, we stopped by at the Central Market and found this pasta place. It's hard to miss it because it's seem to be always busy. There were lines when we went to eat. The spaghetti we had was really good. I saw pesto pasta which looked appealing however I didn't have time to get another one due to train schedule. The spaghetti was very good. They cook the pasta in front of you. It cost â¬5.00 for a plate which wasn't bad considering the location being in Florence. Too bad we found the place too late. I would like to eat there again if given a chance to go back to Italy.

We ended up here for lunch by accident, and what a delight! Located on the hills of Fiesole about a 30â taxi ride from the Duomo, it is an oasis of calm with great views. The pastas are flavourful, and service the friendliest possible. Apparently, main courses are excellent here. Almost all other customers were local - always a good sign.

We try this restaurant because our local friend recommended. And it turns out amazing! Everything was delicious. I spent 3 weeks in Italy and the best spaghetti I ever ate is here. Everything else are great. A little bit expensive for the local standard but definitely worth every cent.

This tiny gem of a restaurant, perched at the edge of the mountain village of Fiesole is well worth the bike ride out of Florence. This food is simple and hearty but utterly delicious, rustic Tuscan cooking. First courses of risotto with lamb's heart and home made pasta with aubergine and tomato followed by main courses of sumptuously sweet tripe stew and succulently tender neck fillet of lamb with confit like potatoes with rosemary were all superb. Young, friendly front of house staff were extremely welcoming despite us not having a reservation. There was also an excellent selection of small savory items available to take away.

We stopped in here without reservations and they shoe-horned us in at the last minute---but don't try that during high season as a booking is obviously obligatory. The service was very friendly and helpful and we had a simple meal. Our pasta (special of the day) was incredibly good, very nice and subtle flavor. The antipasto similarly good. We also had a fish dish for our second and I was a bit disappointed---it was prepared properly, but either the fish itself didn't have flavor or their choice of cooking method didn't work out well for that. I would still return here, but trying other dishes.

We asked at the agriturismo where we could get an authentic meal, with our one missing entree, the Florentine steak. They immediately recommended this family run, comfortable, not fancy restaurant and we were not disappointed! We were greeted by a couple of generations of family members and were seated, in the empty dining room, empty because we arrived at 7:30 pm, before the normal diners. The staff was busy preparing for what was to be a busy night and were very proud of the meat they were getting ready for the diners. Not wanting to stay up all night with a full stomach, we only had the amazing garlic bread appetizer as well as the spinach side, since the steak was to be the centerpiece. You can see from the photos it was indeed amazing, I forgot to take a photo of the empty plate! The frozen lemon desert was a great way to cool the stomach down a bit.

Sunday lunch for a party of four hungry guys was excellent throughout. This is a popular local restaurant, somewhat difficult to find, but well worth the effort. The specialities are Pasta Ragu and Bistecca a la Fiorentina. With are incredible and the steak is amazing value. There is also a very good selection of antipasti and desserts. One comes our of this place well satisfied. Good ingredient and simple cooking.A good selection of local wines at very reasonable mark-ups goes well with the steak.

Located on one of the most panoramic terraces of Fiesole, La Reggia degli Etruschi (once a monastery and later a tearoom) is today one of the most exclusive restaurants in the city with a breathtaking view over Florence and its monuments. We do not serve
We have been to the Reggia not often but repeatedly over the course of the past ten years and last night, surrounded by scores of our fellow Americans, we really felt that it's going downhill. Of course the view is wonderful (if you're there by day). And if you don't know Tuscany, the food will be a revelation. The first clue that their standards are dropping was the mixed salads, which to judge from the color, had to have spent several days in the fridge before serving. The next was the tough, stringy beef. And the last was the 'millefoglie' dessert, which consisted of several flat, hard, square biscuits with a filling in between. In a way I don't blame them: foreigners love the ambiance, the friendly service, the setting. It's always packed. Why not cut a few corners? Given its location it will probably always do well, but serious foodies are advised to go elsewhere.se devo rispondere a questo messaggio lo rachhiudo in 2 piccole frasiin decadimento sarà Lei e non di certo Noi se volete mangiare bene venite che vi faremo passare una splendida serata con piatti ottimi e qualità altissima e soprattutto mi auguro di non avervi più come nostri ospiti Leonardo Cirillo

âStravaganteâ is a word from Latin origins, composed of extra (outside) and vagantem (wandering). In the figurative sense it takes on the significance of fantastic, unusual, and also whimsical. It is precisely with this spirit that we would like to presen
Tucked away on Via Boccaccio near the Le Cure Farmer's Market this charming restaurant with an equally charming owner was a nice respite from the Centro Storico. The menu is sophisticated yet not fussy. With the owner's encouragement we tried new dishes and had wonderful evening. .Buon Appettito! !
Elegant but informal. Artistic and unconventional. The new Florentine bistrot is born as a space dedicated to Food, Mixology and Experimentation. Open 6 days a week, closing on Tuesdays, F.A.K.E. is the ideal place for a gourmet lunch break, crepes and mi
It's hard to explain how great Fake Firenze is, I'll try here but it's one of those places where you don't go just for the food and drinks, but also for the architecture, the mood, the people. Food side the owners are using high quality local products as much as possible. The offer is not overly complex, but is very refined. Menu is changed often and great preparation goes into the taste as well as the look of it. Prepare to be offered dishes that are out of the ordinary! Food is listed with 3 or 4 "suggested drink" in order to experience both at their best. Drink side you can have the run of the mill liquors, wines and cocktails, but here come two other features of Fake: on one side is the creation of a vast array of unique cocktails, breaking the monotony and opening for some new experiences. On the other side there is an extensive list of special liquors, beers and wines. if you are into trying something unique, Fake is a must stop. Last but not least, the whole place has been decorated by a famous street artist, the interiors are really special, like no other in Florence. In short, Fake is a great place for an aperitif, for a cozy dinner, to experience new beers and wines or just to eat a dessert in the afternoon chilling out. Absolutely recommended!
