Westfield's best Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria. We are open 7 days a week for dine in, or take out.
We've been to Cosimo's twice this month and it continues to be a great destination for those who love good Italian cuisine. On the regular menu, the Veal Tango and Shrimp Teriyaki are standouts. Our friends who ordered them agreed. However, the daily specials are worth trying. Last week, I had the Sausage Lasagna; this week it was a Blue Waters special (Cajun dusted shrimp, salmon and monkfish). Both were excellent, both at dinner, and next day with the leftovers - portions are generous. Prices are quite reasonable for a downtown Westfield BYO. Highly recommended.
Alfredo's deli is a small deli (with eat-in tables) in my town. I found out about it two years ago after hearing great reviews from people in the area... So we tried it - and had one of best tuna subs I've ever had.. So we went back, and tried other sandwiches and hot foods... And it was just as great... So we kept going back and in two years of pretty regular going, they have never failed to offer great food...Every so often, we have game night at the house with maybe 5-8 people and have Alfredo's cater it, and the food is always a hit... The friends from game night wont let us go anywhere else. One friend drives up from Toms River, NJ (over an hour away) specifically for the tuna subs.. If they stay over, we're at Alfredo's multiple times in a weekend...The owner is a really nice guy who appreciates his customers..Always a smile, and has kept the deli open after hours when we got there late - without complaining.. (we've learned the hours now)... The only complaint I have is that if you get there after 2pm, theres a chance he won't have the good sub rolls because lunchtime is busy...

Although Gennaro's is not the closest pizzeria to our home, we frequently get pies from here because they that good! These guys seem to use better, higher quality ingredients than the other local guys. They've been in business for many, many years in the same location. Sit down service also available and while not fancy, they have some of the best Italian food in the Westfield area. Hands down!!!

After we took our daughter to Knit a Bit in Fanwood, we wanted a light bite. Looked on yelp and chose Italian Village. Great food, friendly staff and quick service. We had some of the great selection of different types of slices and a very tasty calzone.

There are several pizza places in town, and most of them offer delivery. Maria's doesn't deliver, but it's worth the trip to pick up your order, or eat in at the understated bring-you-own restaurant. Everything on the menu is made to order with fresh ingredients, the portions are ample, and the prices reasonable. Located across from the public library, this is a popular spot for teens to stop in for a slice, but also a family-friendly dinner place!

Nick's is a typical New Jersey pizza which produces very good pizzas. I have eaten pizza from every local pizzeria within the local area, and if I'm ordering a pizza I order from Nick's. Their "normal" pies (plain, pepperoni, you know) are excellent.I've also stopped here for a slice or two for weekend quick lunches a few times, and the slices were always hot and tasty.

Fabio's is a cute little place next to the train station. The food is tasty and service is good. All of their pizza is great but if you like thin crust pizza, their Brooklyn pie is phenomenal.

This is the second time I have eaten at Alfonso's Pizzeria and both times have been excellent experiences. The pizza here is delicious and well prepared and the family who runs the restaurant is very friendly and welcoming to their customers. Even on a holiday weekend I was surprised how crowded the place was for dinner. Almost all the tables were full when we got there.I was entertaining a few friends there and we ordered a large cheese pizza with half sausage on it. Now I said to myself that I am not that hungry after a large lunch but one bit into that pizza and I downed two more. I could not believe I ate three slices of pizza and enjoyed every bit. The sausage was a nice spicy Italian version that was sliced and loaded on the pizza. Their sauce is well-spiced and full of flavor and the pizza was cooked to a crispy perfection. The owners daughter waited on us and could not have been nicer. She made some good recommendations and we really enjoyed our meal. The pizza was wonderful and the company was perfect.I highly recommend Alfonso's for lunch and dinner!

Ferraro's Restaurant has proudly been a family run business since 1969. Since that time Ferraro's has become a staple of the Westfield community. With the simple philosophy, "Fresh is Best", Ferraro's has become a Westfield landmark. By crafting dishes li
The proâs: Great location and nice ambiance The cons: We started with bread and the server brought oil with it. The oil was in a a glass bottle like a burger joint puts white vinegar in. You had to shake it 30 times to get enough on the plate. I asked for balsamic which didnât come in a bottle but in a small ramekin dish Which is a mess to poor (see pic). One would think the an Italian restaurant would have a proper pourer that server would place in a dish. The cheese sticks taste liked they can from Costco. My lasagna tasted like a family restaurant that doesnât specialize in Italian but has it on the menu. The sauce and noodles were terrible. My son had a margarita pizza that had no sauce and not the typical tomatoâs used in a margarita pizza. Instead it was like they took the same tomatoâs they use for their burgers and covers it over the pizza and just sprinkled a bag of shredded mozza on it. At Italian restaurant offering a Neapolitan pizza would use fresh sliced mozza. I would recommend skipping this place or ask what they are known for

What a great find so close to home. Authentic Neopolitan style pizza made with quality fresh homemade ingredients in a wood fired oven. I have tried the margherita and artichoke pizza so far and both were excellent, even the crust was delicious. Though this place is mostly about pizza, there are some pasta specials. The homemade gnocchi and tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce is some of the best I've tasted outside of Italy. My family is from the Friuli region of Italy where gnocchi is a staple, and their gnocchi is as authentic as they come. The lasagna is also excellent, not your typical lasagna covered in cheese and a heavy red sauce. My wife and eat out on a regular basis at a few favorites in the area, this place has definitely been added to the rotation.
