Although it can be very busy in august, this place is always a must during a visit in the Marche. Fantastic staff, great location and best quality food. Not cheap, but also not extremely expensive. Early this year a lot of mosquito's but somhow they managed to get rid of these bugs in august.

So - this is the second time here and somehow it's just gotten better. The family run hotel is simple but clean and has everything you'd wish for - what make it stand out is the restaurant. This is classical Italian fish based dining at it's best . From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by Silvia ( the daughter) until you arrive in the restaurant , you are treated as a member of the family - Gerioni the chef ( and mother) came out to reception to discuss with me what I wanted to eat and what was in season, nothing was too much trouble! ,Once those decisions were made , Flavioni ( father ) the head waiter/sommelier delivered his wine of recommendation - trust me it was good! This is a restaurant that delivers exceptional food with a wine list that exceeds all expectations! Definitely going to make sure I enjoy this place every time I'm anywhere near!!!!!

Ristorante Pizzeria che offre ai propri clienti piatti di pesce, carne e pizze cotte nel forno a legna.
This spacious restaurant serves traditional italian dishes and pizza, using good quality ingredients. The specials of the day are always good value. There are vegetarian and gluten free pizzas and other dishes. Lots of attention to detail in presentation and service. A reliable place for an full evening meal or a quick pizza with friends.

We eat here regularly. Although the restaurant is in a hotel with a rather uninteresting decor, the atmosphere is good as the staff are wonderfully welcoming, genuine, efficient and fun. The menu is mainly fish; there's homemade pasta with some more unusual sauces; the antipasti is a lunch in itself; all appetites are catered for willingly - you can have huge "full power" or normal or shared portions. There is always fresh fish, just ask what's in today. A bottle of very quaffable house wine is local and reasonably priced. When the bill comes you'll be really pleasantly surprised. Value for money compared to many other places in Fano, where you can pay twice as much for standard frozen fish dishes and poor service.

The "Locanda dei Casta" comes from the desire of our Castagna family to remember and pass on the flavors of old Italian cuisine. For this reason, we offer daily fresh food and various local, seasonal products. The charm of the restaurant is also supported
Weâve dined here several times and itâs inexpensive and tasty. Ask to be seated inside as the cars whiz by right next to the restaurant and itâs like sitting next to the highway. They offer a 15⬠combination lunch for water/cover/bread/starter and main course combined. We werenât that hungry, so my daughter and I split a Gnocchi tartufati gratinate com salsiccia. It is a delicious baked casserole with a balance of gnocchi/cheese/sausage. My husband and other daughter ordered the arrosticini di pecora, grigliata mista di carne and melanzane marinate. The lamb and assorted meats were grilled nicely and were tender and flavorful. Thank you very much for the nice review. We are delighted that we were able to satisfy you and we hope to see you again soon. Best regards, Luciano Castagna

We tried the new restaurant AlMare and we were not dissappointed, the young chef that was trained in Nice and St Tropez is running a very trendy restaurant. Very friendly staff, great innovative cooking using local sea-oriented ingredients. A free prosseco to clean the palate followed by (a somewhat very speedy service, not uncommon in Italy) a rollercoaster of excellent antipasti and prima piatti, an excellent brodettero, the main courses still need some finetuning. But no doubt a rising star that could fly to a Michelin star if you ask me. We paid <45 euro per person, for the service given excellent value. Great outside seating, need to book upfront because it is very popular. We hope to be back soon.

We ate a pre-arranged meal with a small bicycle tour group (16 persons). The restaurant is elegant and the service very professional. The quality and variety of seafood choices was very impressive. Local items and regional styles of preparation are well represented.

Maximum Dionysius, owner and chef of the restaurant The Cuciniere Fano, enjoying a very strong experience behind around the world, including Monte Carlo, Imola and New York. In his career he can boast experience in restaurants of international caliber lik
I visited Il Cuciniere last night with my family as a special occasion for my Mum's birthday. I couldn't fault anything about the whole experience. We shared some starters, the carpaccio meat being the highlight, then all ordered different meat dishes for our main course. My kangaroo fillet was superb, beautifully cooked and presented. The others in my party ordered pork, rabbit and beef, all of which were top notch. We also had wine and dessert, again all amazing. The service was super friendly, the waiter spoke excellent english and made good recommendations. He even overheard it was Mum's birthday and brought her an ice cream with birthday candle at the end. Absolutely dining perfection, would definitely recommend and will be returning 100%.

Then great choice of very specific pizze using the best of creativity of the chef ! You will find unexpected and very successful approach of combination of ingredients, really worth a try ! Also, they sell their own food such as olives or even sauces, packaged in a very charming and great way ! For beer lovers, very fine selection of biological beers from thr place but also from Germany. Very special place for sure, don t miss it ! Enjoy !!!

This food is like nothing I have eaten ever. The menu has great options and you can make your own by a menu that was also in English which was amazing. I hope this food finds its way to the US.
