We met a large contingent of out of town and local family here for dinner on a Saturday night and made reservations for 25 on the same day. They blocked us a small room in the back and accommodated all of us on short notice. My Shrimp and Lobster Fettuccini was delicious ($23). Our server was efficient and kept our drinks filled. Parking is $5 in the garage.

We offer a Neapolitan inspired menu of made-from-scratch dishes that represent traditional cuisine. These meals pay hommage to the memories of Campania, the region of our heritage. The dishes are typical to the working class neighborhoods of Napoli, Saler
Bartender Shawna was nasty to me and Rafael cook overcharge me for simple 2 eggs omelette $20.00 Food was just mediocre last time. Late night bar patrons are very low class.

Not my 1st Olive Garden visit, but the 1st one at this location. I arrived a little before 5pm, and was seated immediately. My server got to me quickly and pointed out the early bird specials. I got the grilled chicken parmigiana , it was very good. My only complaint, which was very minor, the salad bowl could have had a little more dressing. I liked the fact that I could take care of paying with my credit card right at the table. My bill including a drink and tip was $ 15.

About a week ago I attended a wedding and reception for my neighbor's daughter. The venue was their back yard and there were 123 attendees. The catering was exclusively done by Pulcinella Restaurant and the food was delivered in a timely manner. It was fresh, hot and included everything from appetizers, pasta dishes and an entree of chicken marsala. It was by far the best food I've had at a wedding. The owner of Pulcinella was there to supervise, making sure everything was perfect. There was plenty of food for everyone and the Pulcinella staff went from to table to be sure everyone was satisfied The bride and the groom and their parents praised the entire catering event.I heard nothing but compliments from several attendees, some of which now plan to use Pulcinella as their catering for future events. Bravissimo to Pulcinella .

This place is without equal (except for its sister location in Rosslyn, of course) for real Italian subs. It's a hopping tempo at lunchtime so expect a wait at the sandwich counter. Somehow, the sandwiches are unique - I have no idea how they accomplish that in such a crowded field. It's fun being in a gourmet Italian food shop (like a really small Eataly) so the atmosphere and decor make a big impact on the positive vibes. It's hard to drive through Westover without stopping - especially since there's such a great outdoor patio area (with a "Vespa Parking Only" area) for al fresco dining.

I stopped to get a sub for dinner the other night, after not having eaten there for a while. It was just like I remembered. The Roma sub was delicious, but more importantly, the staff were all friendly and helpful. For example, after I ordered the sub, the person said I could look around or pay if I wanted, and he would bring it out to me. They have great subs and Pizza, as well as wine and other things Italian. My kind of place.

I've been to Pie Tanza numerous times. It is simply the best little pizza-Italian place in Arlington, especially for families (although Joe's Pizza down Lee Highway is also very good). Pie Tanza is consistently packed on weekends for a reason: the food is terrific, the service is excellent, it is a great place to take kids, but also excellent for couples (though I recommend waiting until about 7:30 or 8 pm on weekends when things start to calm down a bit). It has a thriving take out service as well. Pizza is oven baked - excellent. Spaghetti and meatballs are fabulous, and other dishes really good too. It is an excellent small place to have a great meal at a great value. The locals in Arlington consistently keep going back.

I just love this neighborhood gem. Sfizi works for just about every purpose: family celebration, date night, or an evening when we just want to let someone else take care of the cooking. The atmosphere is unpretentious and cozy, with a caring owner who checks in on newcomers and greets regulars by name.Sfizi is authentic Italian, not American-Italian or Modern Italian or Italian-ish. All the recipes and most of the ingredients are from Italy, as is every bottle and glass of wine in the store.Sfizi also offers attractive value. Pasta dishes include bread and a salad and make for an ample dinner at a great price. The restaurant also offers a creative approach to wine... you can choose a bottle from their extensive offerings, but it for retail, and then pay a modest corkage fee. At Sfizi, I find myself enjoying excellent meals for a moderate price. We'll remain regulars and look forward to our next visit.
