Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Esch-sur-Alzette. Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourgish: Esch-Uelzecht pronounced [ˈæʒ‿ˈuə̯ltsəɕt], German: Esch-an-der-Alzette or Esch-an-der-Alzig, French: Esch-sur-Alzette) is a commune with town status in south-western Luxembourg. It is the country's second "city", and its second-most populous commune, with a population of 33,286 inhabitants. It lies in the south-west of the country, on the border with France and in the valley of the Alzette, which flows through the town. The town is usually referred to as just Esch; however, the full name distinguishes it from the village and commune of Esch-sur-Sûre which lies 45 kilometres (28 miles) further north. The country's capital, Luxembourg City, is roughly 15 km (9.3 mi) to the north-east.

...stay away from the st pierre wih leek sauce. Although it was on the suggestion list, the fish was really bad (tasted rather like codfish that was not properly rinced). Hence it was a salt dry fish in a ready to use cream sauce with some leek. I didn't eat it (my boyfriend shared some of his pizza with me that was good). After I complained the waitress was kind of aggressive, while in the end they did not make me pay for the fish (this got them uprated to poor). Further the girl on the next table was served 15min aftr her family, without any excuses (as far as we heard).Maybe the place is good if you want pizza or pasta, but I think they need either to learn the other stuff or just not suggest it.

Good food and nice service. It was very empty there on our Tuesday evening visit so not much atmosphere. Wierd having a music video on the to that did not match the music we could hear. Escargot average, veal with mushrooms excellent, penne amatriciana good but very cheesy. A bit on the expensive side but good quality.

I have visited this family run restaurant in 1985 for the first time. Within 30 years I never got disappointed, and I will surely still return.Excellent pizzas and pastas, as well as nice grilled meat or fish, you will always love it. The menu will change seasonally, and in autumn they serve very tasty "marcassin"(wild boar) or moules (mussels), in spring time special asparagus dishes are served.

Very interesting and great choice of italian food. A very varied specials board, not sure how often it changes.Large restaurant, open plan and quite noisy. Not for an intimate dinner.Good portion sizes.I had seafood pasta, which came on top of a very soft pizza bread base (bit unexpected).Desserts looked good, i was too full to do one justice.

After getting too used to some of the chain style italian eateries in Luxembourg, this place is a refreshing change. The staff are lovely, if not a little over keen at times. The quality of pasta and the options that they offer - all fresh really do make the difference. The wines served by the glass were all of great quality and we had a very enjoyable meal.Only downside were some unfortunate smells coming from doors opening and closing nearby, but this didn't detract from the meal, simply the restaurant ambiance. Would definitely recommend in Esch.

I chose this restaurant in Esch based on the Tripadvisor rate and pics. I was very pleased with the good background music and the deco itself. The service and the food were really good. Portions are big for a good price.

Restaurant-pizzeria Stella Rosa was a surprise to me. It is located in a calm neighborhood. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes it cozy and elegant. I was welcomed by the host, who speaks English, and settled me in a very good table. The menu is big and with a great variety of dishes. The waitress are very welcoming, helpful and polite. The meals are huge, tasty and well cooked. I had a calzone, which made my plate look small. The wine was also good. The same is applied to dessert: enormous Chocolate mousse. The price is fair and good. And finally the soundtrack is amazing (Queen, Bryan Adams among other classics). I really recommend this restaurant. If I could suggest: add an English menu. None of the waitress spoke English, hence I had to "Google Translate" everything I needed. Though they were extremely helpful, I know this makes other people waiting. Still, I will definitely go back. There are more dishes I need to try. Hello, I remember you, thank you for your comment, and thank you for your smile ;-) Because although it is always us that are noted, we also appreciate the sympathy of our customersI hope to see you again soonthx for all Guillaume
