Very average...at best. There many other pizza choices in the area that will get our business before we think about going back here. Everything we had was just eh. Pizza, Italian beef sandwich, fried ravioli...nothing stood out. Service was ok. Unfortunately nothing calling us back for a second visit.

The pizza is really good, however, skip everything else on the menu. I ordered ribs and had to send them back, which I normally don't tend to do with food. They were luke warm, very tough, and just tasted terrible. When I spoke to the manager about them his reply was "well, what did you think they were going to take like, this is a pizza place." Odd - I would suggest taking them off the menu then. The ribs were removed from the bill though. The fries were wilted. We also went in for a drink with our meal, which they used to have, but they took alcohol off the menu.....and forgot to do the same with the ribs apparently.

Ever since owner Wendy Reed DiBenedetto opened her comfortable downtown Batavia eatery in 2014 (formerly known as Gaetano's Batavia), satisfied patrons have returned for the wide selection of fine Italian flavors featured on the popular restaurant's menu
This is some of the most delicious food We have consumed. It may be pricy but because of the chef's ability to produce such delectable flavors and blends of ingredients, it's worth it! The service is outstanding. Truly a dining experience we always enjoy! We like everything we have tried and our favorite appetizer is the calamari wrapped asparagus with special sauce.

Food****Ambiance****Service****I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken was a tad on the bland side. We also had the tortellini which was a little better than the Alfredo. The ambiance was nice on the outside patio and service was also good. Chiantiâs is a decent Italian Restaurant.

We had excellent service at this restaurant. Our waiter was nice and attentive. The food however left a lot to be desired my wife and I both ordered wedge salad and the lobster bisque. The wedge salad was interesting to say the least. It was a hunk of romaine lettuce. Not really what you would expect in this time of romaine killing people and all. We also shared the bruschetta appetizer. This was the highlight of the meal. The mushrooms on the bruschetta were especially tasty. The lobster bisque with some of the worst somethings Iâve ever had in my mouth. Heavy. Tasted like dirty coffee, cream and black pepper. Yeah. I know it sounds bad. It was. Our friend had a pasta dish and she liked it. Overall I was less than impressed. The service was excellent too bad the food wasnât.

My husband and I were on a legit date night and ate at Riganatos. The food was excellent! Highlights of our cuisine included the calamari with Banana peppers and olive oiland giant ricotta stuffed meatballs. The entire place is super clean you can even see into the kitchen where everyone seems happy and the place is buzzing. The front of the house staff is truly top notch. Clearly they have trained their staff well and the people who work there are proud of what they do- and they should be. Go eat here.

Gia Mia was our lunch time visit to celebrate a birthday. It was very busy at 1:00 PM so we were glad for our reservation. Interior design was welcoming and the wait staff was friendly. Their pizza was tasty and seemed authentic. The steak salad was presented well and good. The prices, however, are a little high for what you receive..

We had the special, ravioli with Italian sausage & pesto sauce. It was outstanding. Large enough for two people to share. Comes with bread. We ordered two glasses of wine. Our bill was $50. Food & service was good. We will return.

Weâve been dining at Acquaviva for years. Excellent Italian dishes, including pastas, fish, chicken, scallops and even vegetarian. We always start with grilled Octopus and calamari. It is very fresh and well prepared with a balsamic dressing. The salmon is excellent, the sea bass we had a few months ago was to die for. We ordered the veal Piccata and rigatoni with beef and wild mushrooms were both excellent choices. You just canât go wrong. Top that with their own wine that is so reasonably priced (our fave is Don Giuseppe at $30, the most expensive bottle!) and the incredible ambiance, youâve got a winner. We sat on the patio overlooking the vineyard. Inside the frescoes and Italian decor are classy and picture-worthy. Even though weâve moved out of state, dinner at Acquaviva is a must each time we return.
