First time visitor. Went because it was highest rated $ italian. We had the special(pasta with meat sauce), 4 stagioni pizza, lasagne and penne all'amatriciani. All pasta made fresh by owner Giorgio. Desserts had were lemon torte, plum torte, ice cream with fresh blueberries served in a waffle cone and of course tiramasu-all made by giorgio's wife. The red wines (italian of course) and the latte. Every dish was delish. The owner took time to visit and was as genuine as the food he prepared. This place deserves a visit. We will return next time in town

Went here with my mom on our first night in town at the recommendation of a friend. Enjoyed ourselves so much we came back a second time to celebrate her birthday. Everyone was sincerely welcoming and hospitable. The food and drinks were delicious and the chocolate budino dessert was to die for. Yum!

We had a great lunch here, and outstanding service.I had spaghetti with a spicy meat sauce, and a small salad to start. All 3 of our meals were great, and the others really enjoyed it.My son is allergic to nuts and soy, and the person in charge actually came to our table and had to make a small adjustment to his meal which was outstanding. She really took it seriously as she should have.Great Job, we will be back.Thank youThanks 836eldent! We're glad you had a good time. Come back soon :)

We visited Vivo with our family of 10 just before Christmas. They gave us a private room, great, attentive service. Good advice on what to order and how much of each. The meals are mostly served family style so you want to visit with a group to get a mix of their interesting dishes. We started with a beef carpaccio (likely the least enjoyed dish overall), fish, and a tomato salad. Our mains included a pasta dish, beef, chicken parm, gnocchi ( which was delicious), and some other dishes I canât recall. All were flavourful. We ended with tiramisu and gelato to share. Some in our party wanted beer and were not happy with the available selections, but the wine choices were nice. Overall this was a great choice for a group but be prepared for the cost. It is not cheap but a nice option for a special occasion.

You can count on delicious interesting food. Nothing here is traditionally Italian. Rather it is all creative, modern, inventive and delish! It was all great but our favourite was the Pappardelle. I find the room a bit spare, but understand that is intended. I will always choose a warmer space, but this is just a preference which didnât impact the meal. The servers are all well versed in the menu items as well as the wine list. Excellent.

What an oasis we loved it. Why? Here are the reasons : nothing fancy - classic dishes presented the old fashioned way - something Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin will vote yes - no influence from Michelin stars - no bizarre culinary techniques - no over the board presentations - no hefty bills at the end : this is why! We flew all the way from Hong Kong and wondered why the locals suggested an Italian restaurant. Well we found out soon enough. We had a wonderful evening spoiled by a wonderful waitress. My only question .. why is this a Bistro and not a Trattoria?

Vaticano Cucina is much more than an Italian restaurant. In the spirit of the widely celebrated Vatican City, our restaurant is a place to be delighted by the restaurant's trademark inventive, artisanal fare, rooted in Italian tradition. Our Chef, Nial Da
Taste and ambiance is great. Very affordable in comparison to other higher end Italian cuisine.Good range of dishes from pizza (wood-fire) and pastas.Highly recommended!!
