Huge servings of quite good food, very nicely decorated, attentive semi trained waiter who kept pestering us with âare you still working on that?â The restaurant was 10% filled so I have no idea why he pushed so hard to take food away from us. When I politely informed him that we were dining not working he stalked away and ignored us the rest of the evening.

Good little tavern, a neighborhood bar with mostly locals. The onion rings were awesome, beer was cold and the staff was friendly. The pizza was touted, but I found it pretty average. Light on the sauce, a little doughy and modest toppings. I prefer ground beef, not the pellets. $18 for a 14" medium. I would go back for the onion rings, the coziness and to try a different menu item.

We started with the fried calamari and zucchini appetizer, which was a large, tasty portion of both. We then had the ravioli stuffed with lobster and rock shrimp and the chicken and sausage cacciatore. Both were large and very flavorful portions.Service was also very good -- attentive and friendly.

Panzano offers unique northern Italian cuisine, brunch, and one of the best happy hours in Denver.
Everything from the tapenade and smoked tomato sauce with bread to our salads including grilled Romaine with Caesar dressing and the beet salad were wonderful. The entrées were outstanding. The scallops were done perfectly with a beautiful presentation of corn salad. My husband had swordfish with red wine risotto and wild mushrooms. The gelato and sorbet selections were a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Thanks for taking time to write such a nice review. We hope to see you back in Panzano soon!

Marco's Coal-Fired is proud to be the only pizzeria in the state of Colorado to receive the coveted VPN certification. This certification requires strict adherence to the culinary discipline of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN). Come taste ou
Good pizza, but service so-so. We ordered: Toscana and Sicilia to share. Good cocktails (we ordered one each - Club Marcos).... I would say well deserved after a long days hike in the mountains (to be clear, we went back to our hotel first before going to dinner, prim and proper). When we got to Marco's, half the place was empty (and it wasn't late at all) so we were pretty annoyed by the rushed service. We still had half the pizzas untouched (yet), and we were only here for less than 15 minutes before the waitress/server started coming by every couple of minutes. While we were clearly enjoying our meal within a short window of time (and we were having a conversation) with our drinks unfinished (still in the process as again we were barely into our slices) when the waitress came to us asking if we wanted a to-go box, and then while I was chewing on another slice asking if we wanted to see the dessert menu. That was perplexing. We didn't order anything else as the mood was turning at our table with the rushed service (and being asked if we're still 'working on it'). We got a to-go box for our pizzas and went elsewhere to enjoy our evening. We would've stayed longer than 40 minutes (maybe even spent more money and ordered something else), but is what it is (instead we found a fun speakeasy where we spent the evening).

Opened in October 2007, Osteria Marco is intended to be the livelier, more playful younger brother to Frank Bonannoâs esteemed Italian eatery Luca. Guests are greeted at the top of a grand staircase by a cheese maker, deep in the throes of crafting burrat
I really do not get why this place gets such great reviews. We have been twice, and both times I have not been overly impressed. I will say that the burrata is fantastic, but beyond that the food is average at best. On our most recent visit, we had our kids with us, and they do not have a kids menu, which is fine. However, our server was certainly not overly accommodating. I had the meatballs and polenta which was decent, but my husband had the rabbit which was so salty that it wasnât really edible. I donât think that we will return.

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon after arriving in Denver. Service was outstanding and the food absolutely delicious! Can highly recommend both the ravioli and gnocchi. Beautiful little patio to watch the trains come and go. Not a big wine selection but definitely a place we would return to!

We eternally dream of living in a neighborhood where the "place around the corner" is sophisticated, warm and welcoming, with creative but not pretentious Italian food. Spuntino is just that place. The service is excellent but not officious, the charcuterie and pastas are house-made and always worth getting, and the wine list has solid selections without being overwhelming. We loved that there is always a vegetable tasting plate that lets vegetables-some pickled, some pureed, always interesting--play a starring role. The octopus carpaccio is wonderful - and the rich Bolognese ragu is made with goat!

Place says they are Detroit style pizza taken after Buddy's Pizza from Detroit. Not close. First, there were very few items on the pizza as it was dominated by sauce. Second, the crust was not caramelized or flavored like Buddy's Pizza. Third, Expensive for what you get. Being from Detroit, I thought this was more advertisement than substance.
