Everything was great! We had a very good waiter named Jordan who served us in the main dining room in the front of the restaurant. Fun decor with a classic Italian feeling. It wasnât until I saw the back porch that was absolutely beautiful that I wish that we could sat back there. But the place was completely full so our room was great. The meals were excellent. They included the choice of soup or salad. I got the salad but many of my friends got the soup. High marks and compliments for the Italian wedding soup and pasta e fagioli. Some of our meals included the favorites which were vegetarian lasagna, gemelli, brachioli. Everything was delicious! And all portions were huge! Every single one of us ended up taking some food home.Truely fantastic vibe, service and food.

This is on the list of my top three pizza places in Syracuse. Pizza is excellent. Always thin and they cook it perfectly. Ingredients are always fresh. Wings are average but I donât really order those very often. They have a full menu but the pizza is so good I never tried any of it. My personal favorites are plain cheese and they make a a white pizza with fresh tomatoes that is delicious. I normally go on lunch and you usually have to wait but itâs worth it.

We went to Olive Garden on Erie Blvd in Syracuse for dinner tonight. When we walked in at 6:00 pm, no employees were visible. Usually someone is at the hostess stand to greet us and seat us, but not tonight. About two minutes later, another couple arrived. About five minutes later, a party of four arrived. Still no one presented to seat us. The bartender yelled to us, âsomeone will be right there.â Crazy as the bar is quite a distance away. Finally a young tall man came to us and was all apologetic for the wait. We were seated and given menus. Our server appeared and took our drink orders stating that sheâd give us a few minutes to look over the menu. I ordered the âmake your own pastaâ where you can choose the type of pasta, type of sauce and topping/toppings that you want. I ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce topped with garden veggies. How can an Italian restaurant mess up simple spaghetti?? It was more like spaghetti soup as obviously the spaghetti was not drained properly. What a disappointment! See photo of the water I poured out of my spaghetti dish into my empty soup bowl. When the waitress checked back with us, I showed her and she replied âsorryâ as she walked away. Iâm wondering if this Olive Garden has a manager on premise as no one seemed to oversee anything.

It is a big place. The bar looks nice and the bartender seems to get the drinks up but the waitress disappears for quite some time so your drinks sit there getting warm. The food was good, but nothing to rave about. Bread / butter was cold and my drink w/ 1 shot of vodka was $9.00 which I thought was kind of high.

Casual, family friendly. Located upstairs
We saw some good reviews, and chose to stop here to meet some family while traveling through Syracuse while on vacation. The fine-dining portion was closed during the afternoon Saturday, but Pronto Joey's was open upstairs, and seated our large group easily without reservations. Menu was extensive, and full of your usual Italian fare, but everyone felt that they got a really good meal there. Service was quick as was the kitchen. There were some very good looking deserts in the showcase, but we were full from the meal and didn't have room. Location was super-easy to get too, right off the highway on east side of the city.

We are a family owned restaurant serving quality Italian food since 1982. We are located off of Carrier Circle in Syracuse - New York State Thruway Exit #35
On our way home from a East coast vacation. Stayed at Residence Inn. Joeyâs is only a few minutes ride from RI. We arrived on a Wednesday night about 6:30. Able to get a table right away upstairs. We started with mushroom soup. Homemade and very good. I had a Caesar salad and the dressing did NOT come from a store. Great homemade dressing. Wife had the homemade Ravioli with a Very large meatball. Had to been over 8 ounces! I had the Fishermanâs platter with side fettuccine. A large portions and very tasty. Nice âby the glassâ wine list. Waitress very pleasant. Service was great. Unable to eat dessert because of large portions. Prices very reasonable. ENJOY!!

This restaurant has wonderful food. My daughter loves their Chicken Piccata and it wasn't on the menu so they offered to make it especially for her. You can't beat that for service! We were there on a Friday and it wasn't loud even though it was busy. Food selections are terrific and the desserts are scrumptious.

This Grimaldi's may have a family connection to the original Syracuse Grimaldi's on Erie Boulevard. But, the last name is where the connection ends. In the past, we've eaten at the original on Erie Boulevard too many times to count, and every time we had a memorable experience. From those experiences, we can not remember a single bad experience. On the other hand, this Grimaldi's in Carrier Circle did not pass muster. We experienced a situation where our reserved table was given to another party while we waited 45 minutes to an hour beyond our reservation. We in turn were a bit later provided a second rate table, and everything continued downhill from there. Our waiter had an attitude and further reinforced a bad experience. Mediocre, poorly prepared Italian food topped the experience off. The positives we took away were that we were able to have a reasonably fun time with our family, despite the negatives we experienced, because the drinks were good. Unfortunately, we were overall disappointed which is rare considering the Grimaldi family's signature contribution to the greater Syracuse restaurant scene. We'll try a different Italian restaurant in the area next time.Dear Road Warrior,We are very sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience at Grimaldi's. I remember your party last night and the mix up, for which we are very sorry. Your party seemed very understanding of the situation and were enjoying yourselves while you waited. Not too much after you were seated and promptly waited on. We wanted to make sure your order was put in the kitchen to ensure your enjoyment. Please understand that we would have gladly offered something towards your meal had we known your displeasure. Since everyone finished their meals and were checked on repeatedly we assumed you all enjoyed your food and experience. We invite you to come back again with our compliments.
