Antonio Lombardi, Chef-Owner, is from Rome. My wife and I both find his cuisine is equal to the best we found during our visit to Rome. The side order pasta and olive oil must be sampled no matter which entree you order. We have enjoyed each and every one
Our first time their. A charming setting. Thought we were in Rome. Waiter was so great and friendly. Quiet enough for easy conversation. So unusual to find that today. Food was outstanding. Each dish custom made and served well presented. Try the eggplant and mozzarella appetizer. Nice pasta sauce and pasta done just right. One of us had the fish special which was soo good.Prices are quite reasonable.Nice wine selection as long as the county makes their deliveries (so sad to have the county in the wine business).All-in-all, we'll be back.

Easy to find. Good location. Lots of free parking. Ambiance is standard Italian. Menu has lots of options. We were part of a large group. A waiter and a server performed capably. Salmon Amore was excellent. Kitchen was able to keep up with demands. Only negative applies to seating arrangement for large groups. We were 20 plus diners lined up at a long table along an outside wall. There was not adequate room for waiter or diners to move between the wall and the table. Settings were too close together.

Il Porto offers fresh and delicious Italian food at very reasonable prices along with impeccable service. You will not find a more friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We now offer OUTDOOR SEATING on our brand new patio. And, with our recent expansion to th
For our Saturday lunch, we decided to try dining at the new Colombian restaurant recommended by a family friend. It has small eating area and a retail store inside. All the seats were taken so we left and look for our Option B!Option B is a Filipino restaurant located in the same Shopping Center. It offers buffet lunch. It was crowded as well so we went to our Option C, this restaurant. We ordered calamari for our appetizer, Pasta Carbonara and Grilled Veal for our entrees. Total of these foods, desserts and drinks is $72 plus tip. We were served FREE home made bread while waiting for our foods. Both our entrees were tasty and seasoned well. The Veal steak was very tender, we used its sauce to dip the meats. Serving sizes were huge, took home our leftover foods and had them for dinner.Servers - 2 servers waited on us. The Male Server had a hard time understanding my request for tap water without ice. It's good the friendly Female Server took over and she gave us our requested items. Will definitely eat here again!

Very good thin styled pizza with many choices of toppings. Good salads. Sit down or take away. 1950s feel with open floor plan Can be noisy. No wine or beer. Good value. Good vibe.

Baronessa Italian Restaurant is great neighborhood restaurant offering Neapolitan pizza, fresh homemade pasta and other wood-fired specialties such as Charred Brussels Sprouts and Gluten-free Cauliflower Pizza.
The pasta is the way to go!! The pizza is very good, but the pasta, wow!! All pasta house made. I had the Ricotta Gnocchi in a sherry cream sauce, A-MAY-ZING! Little pillows. Husband had the Calzone, while good, it was a lot of bread. The other time we were there I had the Manicotti, so fluffy!! My husband had the Carbornara Pasta, equally as great! Service was excellent. Every time we went was on an off hour on a weekend, just to note.

Mythos is an experience. The owner is a bit forward but elevates a meal into a memorable experience. She is direct, full of stories and spit on with food and wine recommendations. Stuffed grape leaves and lightly fried calamari with jalapeño dipping sauce left my wife and I wanting more, but very full and glad we decided to split a gyro with Greek potatoes and simple Greek side salad did not disappoint. We savored the meal with a glass of red wine that was a cross between a merlot and Cabernet. The grand finale was a lemon custard between filo dough with spanakopita to go.What a great meal and we look forward to visiting again during our next visit.

HH is when you casually sample an eatery's kitchen's culinary skills and decide whether you should return for the regular menu. I don't think we would, though I had an excellent lunch buffet 15 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.The mussel is done so poorly, almost didn't want to finish it, there is no flavor in the soup. The fried calamari is even worse, usually dipping sauces make you want to eat more, not in this case. I have never had "bad" calamari anywhere, this is a first. The eggplant rollatini is forgettable though it sounded promising. We tasted less than half of it and took the rest home for the puppy, he'll eat anything. It was busy and everyone else seems to enjoy their meal. So it could just be us. When you order 3 appetizers and none of them enjoyable, guess there is no returning for more.

Il Pizzico features Italian cuisine offering fresh locally sourced ingredients prepared using time honored Italian guidelines
This is my second time here, two of us, married ladies, meeting for dinner. From the spotless white tablecoths to the lovely professional service, Il Pizzico had me. And then the food! And wine! Sean(Shawn) was our very attentive but very discreet server. We were treated as if we were royalty. Never rushed, always anticipating our needs before even asking. No wonder it is rated #1 in Rockville.
