My family had a reservation this Friday night after reading positive reviews about Louieâs online. We were optimistic to try one of the newest restaurants in Darien and were sadly disappointed. This restaurant misses on so many fronts it is hard to know where to begin. First, it is incredibly overpriced. One member of our party ordered an Italian salad for $12 and received a plate of lettuce with a few sad pieces of tomato, onion and cucumber. My son ordered a horribly greasy $16 pizza that we sent back. It was tasteless and literally dripping in oil. Dinner took nearly an hour to be served. Service was incredibly slow and inexperienced. At one point, i was asked if i wanted another glass of wine. I replied that i hadnât really cared for my first glass and it was removed without another word. (No...do you want to try a different type or see a wine list?) My husbands salmon had a strange flavored mustard sauce and my orecchiette was overpriced at $24 and contained little sausage. The restaurant was nearly empty and it is easy to see why.

We had a quick dinner at Bertucci's, as it was near our hotel in Norwalk/Darien. Bertucci's is a small regional chain with locations mainly in New England, the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states.We sat outside, and the atmosphere was nice. The Peroni (Italian-brewed) beer was good, but the pizza? Meh. We make better pizza than this at home.I'm sorry our pizza was not up to par. I hope you will try our new summer menu.

Almost three years old and continues to improve. Name of the establishment a bit of a misnomer as Joe creates a wide variety of Italian food. From his wonderful meatballs, to a spectrum of pasta and risotto. Excellent salads. Even a selection for those that prefer vegetables called the Whole Shizam. Decent beer and wine selection. Dine in including the terrace in fair weather or carry out. A solid 10 out of 10.

I took my French chef friend here and she loved it...the many has many great dishes and hard to choose but here goes....we went for the prix fix lunch at 21$ I oredered the stuffed zucchini flowers tampura... very tasty stuffed with ricotta fried on a nice pesto sauce with truffle oil...we a,so had the chicken Francese with lots of lemon and baby potato with string beans...my friend had the veal stuffed ravioli in a nice thick sauce ..the wine list is great and for dessert we hAd the perfitarols stuffed cream puff with ice cream and chocolate...yum

The place to go if you enjoy great pizzas, nice atmosphere and good customer care.This is my 10th visit : never disappointed.Mozzarella sticks and tiramisu are definitely among the things you should try there.The pepperoni double cheese New York style pizza I had (on the picture) is my favorite.Enjoy !

We had an enjoyable dinner. They offer a nice menu- salads, wraps, pizzas, pasta dishes, sandwiches, drinks and desserts. We ordered two dishes- chicken Marsala over pasta and vegetable lasagna with low fat cheese. Complimentary warm rolls were included with the meal. We shared the dishes. The food was very fresh and tasty and served hot. The servings were generous too. In addition we had very good service.

I have been to a number of private events of this nature. This was the finest, by far. Good service, have whatever you want from the bar, etc. The veal was good, but not great, people liked the salmon, but did not finish it. I and many other first time diners with be back again. It compared very favorably to the TripAdvisor number 1 restaurant in Stamford.Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! Full tonight just wanted to have my chicken Francese 2 breast in wonderful lemon and baked potato with fresh veggies ...my husband had the prime rib with mash potato...we shared a Caesar salad and garlic bread delicious ...they have Greek dishes as welll which I have tried...we have followed this hard working family owned business from Greenwich to Stamford check the menu on line...lovely interior light and clean ...

We decided to give it another chance after not being there for a long time .. surprised it has been remodeled.. I ordered the chicken franchises was cooked perfectly lots of lemons with fresh zucchini and mash potato.. orders a side of fettuccine Alfredo delish ... the husband had the special Halibut with white wine and tomatoes with broccolini ...moist fish .. the whole meal was tasty and great glass of Montipulciano de Abruzzo .. Great restaurant, friendly service - the food is delicious. The only problem is their funky reservation policy--they don't take them for parties under 5 people on the weekends but they DO take them for all during the week (or something like that) which has led to some confusion.
