We popped into Il Coccio before our flight home and we stunned at the quality of the food! Very different to what we have had during our trip around Italy and it was lush home cooking with different spins on some classic dishes! Highly recommend you jump in if you are in Bergamo!!

We booked dinner here based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not left disappointed. The staff were excellent and explained all the specials to us in English. We had a specials meat starter along with polenta with porcini mushrooms. Mains were the most incredible pumpkin gnocchi and Ragu tagliatelle. For dessert we had an Italian version of a creme brûlée and gelato with chocolate and chestnuts. We had the most enjoyable meal and experienced a real taste of italy!

I was taken here on business for lunch. A real find - quirky interiors, a really friendly welcome. Delicious home cooked food made from local produce. I had spaghetti carbonara to start followed by carpaccio . The desserts looked stunning but was too ful to indulge. If you see in the area you must find this restaurant!

The chef, came to translate the menu, and offered great suggestions. Just about everything we had was exceptionally cooked and presented. The deserts were the ones that by far impresed all of us a the table. If you are in the Mozzo area, strongly recommend this reastaurant. Cost was about 50Euros per person and we did have a couple of glasses of wine

This restaurant was a real find. It is worth going for the charismatic and entertaining maitre'd alone! The food was superb - we let the maitre'd do the recommending and went with the veal which was excellent. They even knocked â¬8 off the bill. It was a very pleasant experience overall.

Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Bergamo. The fish and seafood are always fresh and very tasty. Everything they offer is delicious.Bruno with his family and the staff knows how to create a perfect dinner in an unforgettable way. I have often been enjoying the great food and service there, never been disappointed.

The occasion was a reunion of old colleagues. The environment is inspired by an old classic style but not heavy: it's simple. The menu is inspired by the local tradition (meat) and some fish intrusions. I chosen for a starter and main course of fish: warm fish salad (octopus and squid) and tuna slices lightly baked. Fresh and good quality and vine also.

If you are in the Bergamo region you have to try this excellent restaurant.All the dishes are prepared "a la minute" and the fish we choose wasoutstanding. Very friendly service, just listen what they propose, you can'tgo wrong. Excellent wine list at very reasonable prices.

If you´re looking for traditional northern italian dishes, without staying where everbody else are, than this could be your Trattoria! I´ve been there for about five times and almost every one of them I could not resist the famous Pizzoccheri, with origin from Valtellina. If you have never tried it, you must! Here they also serve a very good polenta, with different meat to go with it, but I would say rabbit is maybe the best. For red wine, why not try the Inferno, also from Valtellina. The prices are very fair, treatment is descrete, almost shy. Was invited by a business contact. But had to pay the bill. It was supposed to be a business lunch. The food was exquisite, the wine superb, the ambience beautiful, but the portions!!!!!! my god Lilliputian! 5 pieces of pasta as a starter and 2 mouthful as a main course. The apple strudel was a thin slice. The wine was superb as worth the price but as soon as I got home I had to eat as I was hungry. Thank you but not for me.
