We went with our hosts from Casa Cantalupo on our last night in Cupramontana to this restaurant. The service was good, the food lovely but the strawberrry tiramisu out of this world. I was meant to share it, but ..... well let's say I had difficulties sharing it.

It s a small family owned restaurant with amazing food. It s absolutely worth travelling to staffolo for it.traditional food at its best. In my honest opinion itâs one of the region s best restaurant. Maialino arrosto , roasted suckling pig itâs an absolute must although everything else is also spectacular. Enjoy

They have a point, food is traditional. So traditional that you have eaten that at least 5000 times, if you're Italian. Yes, it's cheap and yes servings are huge, but the food itself is nothing surprising and the house wine is pretty poor (and they are in a good wine producing region). In summary, it is exactly what you would expect from this kind of restaurants, those that have been exactly the same for the last 30 years and will stay the same for the next 30. The everything-home-made style, where home made does not necessarily mean excellent, just mediocre.

We ate at this restaurant several times and each time had a great experience and good food for a reasonable price. It can get busy at weekends so booking is advisable. They do have English menu's, but they were very patient when we tried our Italian out!

Visited a few times during our stay, especially enjoyed the pasta. The setting is great, food excellent, the service good, although one mishap on the evening of the World Cup Final when the place was really busy and one of our mains was served about 5 minutes earlier than the other. This meant a wait, and unfortunately my partners meal going a little cold as he waited for mine to be served. The staff could not apologise enough, and gave us complimentary coffee at the end of the meal. Small gestures mean a lot and are the reasons why these types of family businesses keep me going back. Try it out.

We (non-Italians) had the same experience as mentioned here on tripadvisor, the bill was high and not specified. Talked about our " experience" with the owners of our agriturismo and they confirmed our experience regarding the "pricing structure" of this restaurant. The prices are much higher for tourists. The food was good, but our advice is to avoid this restaurant because of the "pricing structure".Dear customers,I have no doubt in saying that you are fairly unfair and partial here. I asked my father and he told me you arrived at 2.30pm (kitchen closes at 2.00pm) and he accepted you only on behalf of the friendship with the person who brought you there. You were 3 adults and 2 children and you ordered 3 abundant handmade pasta dishes i.e. 2 handmade tagliatelle and 1 tortelloni, 1 full tray of mixed salad, 1 coke, 1 fanta, 1 bottle of wine and you paid 38⬠in total. There is no difference between foreigners or locals but there is a difference if you WANT to pay with your price i.e. 20⬠because this is what you offered my parents at the end of your meal. I remind you that we are a very reliable and serious trattoria and not a fast food...and if you want to pay 20⬠for 5 people you rather go to a bar and get a sandwich or a slice of pizza for the same price and you share a couple of beers. A handmade primo piatto as per menu costs ca.10⬠each, a coke and a fanta 2.50⬠and a bottle of the house wine 4â¬. So please be fair in your feedback and report exactly what you ate and what you wanted to pay because yours is an untruthful assessment and report. So I'd rather say WARNING! to people like you who in an arrogant way want to impose their conditions on honest and careful hosts.Best wishesdaniela(on behalf of my dad and mum)
