Received this restaurant contact as recommendation from the hotel reception and eventually was disappointed and surely never come back. If you imagine that Italian restaurant could cook unpalatable, unappetizing and tasteless food - this is the case. Meat, risotto - unacceptable, desert was more or less all right. Service is strange, they position themselves like three Michelin star owners though they aren't. Dark and strange shabby interior. Was a wrong choice, try to avoid this osteria.

We've been there several times for lunch. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Grilled flatbread stuffed with various meats or vegetables, side dishes of potatoes and vegetables, even burgers. All authentic, superb quality and flavor.

We visited twice, both times we were 2 couples for a dinner occasion. The restaurant is always busy, reservations are necessary. They have indoor sitting and outdoor on the terrace. Super crowded. The downside is only one waiter with one assistant. They were so super busy. Accordingly, the service was slow. We didnât mind that as we were enjoying our company. We took our guests here as we wanted them to see how umbricelli with Sagrantino wine are passed in the Parmigiano cheese bowl (for a little dining entertainment). The waiter though was not planning to move close to us before we specifically asked for it. As I said, the restaurant was very busy and they wanted to avoid to move around with the cart. We liked our waiterâs sense of humor and I remember he was the same one from a year ago. Memorable character.)) For our dinner we went with Sagrantino wine and all typical dishes. I especially appreciated coratella and umbricelli pasta with Sagrantino wine. The only disappointment was the chicken liver pâté, which was extremely dry and crumbly. Definitely the worst we have ever had. The rest was fine.

Umbrian and middle Italian restaurant, intimate and welcoming place, family management . Open every day. We suggest to make reservations.
To cut to the chase, this is the real deal. Authentic Italian in central Italy. All Italian menu, great atmosphere. Very small dining room--perhaps 6 tables and small outside seating area. Modest English language capability by waiter, made for fun times, getting meanings across!Food was excellent--chicken, pasta, appetizer, wine--as real as it gets. Will definitely go back, and we are in Italy visiting family at least 2-3 times each year.

The green hills of olive groves that surround the tiny village of Chiugiana near Perugia embrace the delicate ambience of Osteria del Posto, which seamlessly blends contemporary elements with ancient arches and old wooden beams. The menu is created by car
The restaurant is run by young people, they seem to be very nice and you can tell they put an effort in their place. The decor is cute and the ambience is sort of smart casual. We really loved the food, tried various dishes and desserts and all were great. Pleasant presentation too. Iâd like to highlight Spaghettoni with onion, tench and ginger. Superb! We took a couple of bottles of local wine which surprisingly was priced very reasonably. You may order lovely Umbrian wine for â¬15-20 as average. The menu, on the other side, was a bit pricey for the area. We paid â¬40 per person. I would expect probably â¬30, â¬35 at most. Also, the service was very slow, but we were a group of 10, all close friends and we didnât mind it since we spent time chatting and enjoying each otherâs company. The only improvement Iâd recommend is to make the English version of the menu. I can read menu in Italian freely but for other customers it could be a good thing to have. But generally speaking we were very satisfied with the experience and definitely would like to come back to check out their new creations.

A place where Champagne lovers will find their own little paradise. A wineshop focused on Champagne produced by the most famous brands and by small vigneron. Here you can also taste pizza made by sourdough and italian typical dishes. Special care is given
Pizza & Champagne strange combination at first sight but ....go and try ! Delicious gourmet pizza with high quality ingredients . Great selection of champagne for all budgets and tastes. Simple ,minimal interior design , perfect for a special evening with friends. Worth the money , not especially pricey considering the food and champagne quality. Recommended !

We came across this restaurant by chance and what a find. From the smiling welcome through the 'best calamari fritti' my friends have ever eaten, tagliatelle con tartufi to die for, prawns with orange champagne sauce and heavenly dressed salad, we shall be back!

Really nice place, a kind of a strange (not perfect) mix between of shabby and modern, minimal, overall ok!Good service in term of being polite and knowing what they are serving, they pay a lot of attention to customers and there is always someone ready to help you.Food is good, a mix of traditional and fusion, good ingredients that come directly from nearby farmhouses, with a lot of attention for small production and original but healthy ingredients. My experience was ruin by the waiting, for 3 courses we stay more than 2h (that is fine if you decide to stay there chatting and having fun, but is not ok if you have to wait for almost 1h between the different plates). they work mainly on reservation so they know in advance more or less how many people they will serve. This is usually a good strategy to organize kitchen work and be sure that customers will be followed and served with the right attention and timing. On this occasion was a failure, complete, mainly because the kitchen was extremely slow, probably not enough personal was working there. That's a shame because the place is really nice, the food is good and it definitely worth a visit.

Local Umbrian food. Chef owned. Modern decor. Excellent food preparation. We thoroughly enjoyed the assorted appetizer platter to start the meal. 2 platters generously served the 6 of us. We all ordered a spaghetti next. Check the website for pictures. We were extremely satisfied. Try LâUtopia for dinner.

Quintessentially Italian family restaurant in a small, pretty, village nr Corciano. The antipasti and prosecco were delicious and fairly priced. TDS operates on a small scale (7-8 tables) to high standards. The waitress was exceptionally nice. Strongly recommend.
