Pizza is great and priced well for an enormous pizza. However, it tends to get cold pretty quick when eating at home; likely due to it being such a thin (authentic) Italian style dough. You have to (technically) pay for parking to pick up. If you order ahead, you should be able to park out front, or on Glen Drive, and run inside quickly...at your own risk. (Getting a ticket makes for an expensive pizza). $20 gets you a larger than normal basic pizza that feeds two happily.

Really good for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Pasta are excellent value creme brûlée was on point service was bumping. Since when did trip advisor become the pc police. It should be about food first. Got to this place if your in the hood. Not pretentious but a nice change.

Stayed at a nearby hotel and wanted to take a pizza back to the room. Ordered a 10" Big House and a Caesar salad, and both we outstanding. The pizza was unique; thin-crust whole wheat that was perfectly cooked (I'm guessing wood-fired) with just enough toppings. If I lived in the Vancouver area, I'd definitely be a regular.

I've been here for years, the line is long, the service is alright but the food is amazing and cheap! They have a two for one deal for the entrees, and they're very generous with the portions.

Very nice couple running this restaurant- sheâs solo at front of house, heâs in the back. No walk-ins, only seating by advance reservation. Not quite sure if this was Italian or French, but thereâs a combination of both on the menu. The decor is in dire need of updating. Wines by the glass, 1/2 L and bottle (please get some wine bottle coolers for the table, our was what looked like a tea carafe, in a bowl of ice cubes). Prices were more indicative of Vancouver rather than the suburbs. Pastas $17-22, specials $28-38. Started with escargot, tiniest snails Iâve ever seen, overdone and served with a small piece of garlic bread (plain bread would have been preferred with the garlic in the dish already). The special snapper with a vermouth sauce - it must have spent too much time under the broiler or heat lamp - parts were perfectly cooked but most of it suffered from both Being dried out and overheated. The sauce was heavy and not flavourful. The veal picatta was alright, had a nice lemon flavour, but it could have done with less time on the pan. The sides included lentils, an unbearably sweet orange vegetable (carrot? Squash?), broccoli and a piece of yellow pepper. Dessert creme brulee, but the menu offers this with blueberry compote...Iâm a purist, didnât want the fruit, which was questioned but finally accepted. It was just ok, the custard was a bit too sweet. Overall, just an ok meal put on by nice people.

Our family came here after a day at White Pine Beach. It is a busy place - mostly younger people. We ordered pizza which was quite disappointing. The crust is fine, but the sauce had no delicious flavour. The quality of ingredients was ok, but they just didnât meld together into something special.Adding toppings cost an extra $3 per topping which is what you would expect. We ordered cokes, but almost turned them back when a lady said they were not refillable, but our waiter corrected her. Normally not a big deal but two glasses with 3/4 ice and one can for the two glasses would otherwise be expensive and better off to order beers. We found it quite loud and very busy getting very mediocre pizza. Not a happy camper.

I visited Rosa's for dinner with a long-time client, on a recommendation from a friend. This restaurant is small and quaint, with really cool personally autographed photos on the walls. The homemade vegetarian lasagna and chicken parmigiana were spectacular. Portions are large. The red wine recommended by our server was delicious and the carrot cheese cake is to die for. Great service as well. You won't be disappointed!

This place has a very 'local' feel, with regulars who are like family. Friendly service. Lunch paninis were generously filled, though they weren't the 'panini press' type of sandwiches you might expect, and were instead only lightly toasted on the exterior (with a non-warm filling). Satisfying, as usual.
