Iâve been coming here for thirty years. Still gets high marks for food and service. This is one of the best Italian joints in Lindenhurst. Itâs not obvious because itâs tucked away in the shopping center north of sunrise highway at wellwood ave. They have all the special slices and great heroes plus truly legitimate dinners in a very nice dinner room. Prices are better here than some of the more obvious choices.

Classy looking venue. Efficient, friendly waitstaff. Delicious, well presented food. I was pleasantly surprised to see the 2 rooms that they have for private parties. It's especially nice that the party rooms each have doors that open out onto outdoor patio areas.I have no idea about their pricing because I was there attending a private party. I would definitely go back for dinner.

For exceptional Italian cuisine on Long Island, Verona Ristorante Farmingdale promises food enthusiasts a true Italian dining experience in Farmingdale NY. You'll savor warm flavors of the Italian countryside and you'll experience our warm family service,
I attended a repast luncheon yesterday with about 40 people. The service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. Platters of Italian antipasto, shrimp cocktail, clams with linguine and an option of about 6-7 selections for the entree including fish, chicken and veal. I am sure they could easily accommodate vegetarian. A platter of Italian pastries followed with cappuchino and espresso, Irish coffee, herbal tea. The waiters for all the tables were professional and prompt. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I spent 6 nights in town and ate at Gino's 4 times! That alone should tell you something. Very attentive staff, excellent pizza, pasta dishes, and my favorite...seafood! Monday pasta special is not to be missed!!

Just came got back from celebrating the life of our family member who was buried in Pinelawn. I had never heard of this place but I have to say the employees were SO lovely. The filet of sole oregenata was fabulous as well. It was really noticeable how nice they were here. Thank you!

Mama's strives to give you the best possible food and service. We are committed to quality, value, and your complete satisfaction. Every day we start fresh by making our soups, salad dressings, and sauces from scratch. We will always do our best to accomm
We have been going to Mama's for over 25 years from when they were a single store front to now where they occupy 3 storefronts in the shopping center. The food has always been excellent which is why we return but they need to get past that Pizzeria mentality for the prices they charge and the silly add ons. One example is the salad they provide. It consists of iceberg lettuce, 1 wedge of tomato, about 3 slices of red onion and some carrot shreddings. There used to be a slice of cucumber but apparently that must add too much to the cost of the salad because it no longer comes. When you are charging between $25.00 and $30.00 on average for your dishes, you can do a little better on the salad. Their choice of dressings is also ridiculous. Nothing but varieties on italian dressing. Italian, creamy italian, oil and vinegar or balsamic vinagrette. Years ago they used to have bleu cheese and thousand island but I guess that was just too many to stock. Another pizzeria mentality practice is that they charge for soda refills. Virtually no restaurant (but many pizzerias) will charge you for a refill today. To me, that is nickel and diming. It has actually reduced the number of times we will go to Mamas. There are 3 of us and we all usually get a soft drink. My wife and son usually want a second drink. It just gets on my nerves for us to be charged for 5 sodas. It's not the money, its the principle. The owners/managers need to realize that even though they are busy, the lose business with these cheap antics. Get with today's times and discontinue this practice. I am sure we are not the only ones who are annoyed by this and some of there other silly behavior. With so much competition in the area, it is short sighted to do this to your customers. With that said, the food, while a bit more expensive than most Italian restaurants in the area, is very very good. Portion size is quite large and you will almost always have something to bring home. They also serve extremely fresh garlic knots which compliment the meal. Desserts and coffee were also very good although they charged me a dollar more for my dessert than it was listed on the menu for. I chose to let that one go. I also chose to drink water.Service wasn't bad but wasn't exceptional either. While we didn't require anything after he served our meals until we were done, he didn't check on us for quite a while and had there been something wrong, we would have waited a long time to get it addressed.Tony, we appreciate your honesty, and are very sorry to read that you have been disappointed lately with your experiences. It has always been a pleasure to serve you, and can assure you we take your concerns very seriously. If there is any way we can discuss your recent experience further, and invite you to give us a call if there is any way we can discuss your feedback in greater detail.

My wife and I ordered take out as a last minute whim. We were blown away by how big the portion sizes were. The quality of the food was top notch. The food was amazing and prices were more than fair. When my wife picked up the food she was met with a smile

The only ding I have is that the meals are very rich and heavy. The risotto sides have a lot of cheese. Service was very good. One thing I noticed was that the acoustics were very good - meaning that other table talk throughout the restaurant was not echoing off the walls & drowning out our conversation. Catered very well to my wifeâs dietary issues.

Booked a reservation here based on a very strong recommendation from a Long Island friend. I am happy to say he was right on target and our visit here proved to be a wonderful dinner. I love when a restaurant cares about all parts of the meal - starting with the bread basket! Tremendous fresh and tasty artisanal loaf with EVOO and pepper mix. Very strong bar and cocktail libations. Home made Bucatini with Short Rib Ragu ( more meat than sauce!) ending with great desert assortment! Our waiter added to the strength of our visit here. The ONLY Negative is the parking situation here. The lot is far from the front door and those with a hard time walking may find this an unexpected and unpleasant challenge!
