The first pizzeria in the heart of the historic center of Conegliano that offers refined and gourmet pizzas. We use the mother's yeast for a light and digestible pizza.
We shared a lunchtime tagliera with delicious breads in this bright and cheerful pizzeria. The hams and cheeses were freshly cut to order and it was a pleasure to have eaten so well. The waitress was charming.

This pizzeria/restaurant is a must visit for anyone passing through Conegliano. It's located on a large road(Via Pontebbana ss13) in Conegliano between Treviso and Udine. You could walk to it by from the train station in Conegliano but it would take half an hour. I lived near Conegliano for several years and this pizzeria was one of my favorite eateries (and there are many very good ones in the surrounding areas). Gennaro originally came from near Napoli but the pizza served at Gennaro's today is more similar to the Roman style (very thin and not overburdoned with toppings). The base is delicious, crisp but at the same time elastic and always cooked perfectly in the wood fired oven. The mozzarella and other toppings are of excellent quality, fresh and tasty. There is a huge selection of dishes and pizza's on the menu. The pizza and other meals are honestly priced, the service is fast and courteous (although they may, at times, seem abrupt by anglosaxon standards... it's an italian thing). If for some strange reason you're passing through Conegliano - I say this because tourists usually stick to Venice, Rome, Florence and the lake regions - , the town and surrounding hills are definately worth a visit... this place is virtually unknown to tourists and has a lot to offer; you should definately visit Gennaro's.

`Al Castello` is a special Bar and restaurant, located inside the Castle gardens in the town of Conegliano. From the there, you have the chance to enjoy a wonderful view. âAl Castelloâ restaurant offers the best traditional Venetian dishes, interpreted ac
We were there to visit the castle and decided to get something to eat not expecting much. Boy were we wrong. Tried 3 things, all delicious and creatively prepared. Their take on caprese salad had the tomato sliced part way through and the mozzarella placed inside each cut. Shared a mixed veggie grill with perfectly cooked zucchini, eggplant and potato. The best perhaps was their salumi served over white polenta. Top notch. Pus you get a great view of the countryside

Love this trattoria, close to piazza Cima in Conegliano. Very good food and wine. the owner and helped me to choose the right meal because I'm strictly vegetarian (vegan). Very good food presentation and reasonable price. Nice Al Fresco dinner.

The food is excellent, service superb, excellent wine list, and it is a stylish option in Conegliano for dinner or lunch. We were here at a quiet time so the atmosphere was not its best.

i have been eating at this pizza place for several years. year after year is getting worse, but this time it was terrible. Apart from wating more than an hour for pizza and pasta - it was eigth of us - both pizza and pasta were terrible when compared to Italian standards. Will never go back to this place again.

I was curious to try this place as I lived in Conegliano for several years and the first time I ever heard about it was on trip advisor. I must say that the pizza is good but I wouldn't rate this as the top restaurant in Conegliano, not even in the top 10. The pizza is very good and the service friendly and prompt, the restaurant is clean and well presented but I regularly have better (not a lot better but better) pizza's at other places such as Gennaro and Rosa dei Venti. I think the tablet menu is useful for English speaking patrons but is a bit of a gimmick and a regular menu is easier and faster to navigate. If you're in the centre of Conegliano and you're close to this place it's worth stopping in, I wouldn't go out of my way for it though.

Don't be fooled by the word Osteria, this is rather a fine restaurant, with a pleasant atmosphere. The cuisine is traditional but also offers "foreign" steak choices. Here you can taste some nicely made salted cod fish in the traditional vicentina way and other Veneto cuisine dishes nicely prepared. All in all a good experience at moderate prices. The house wine (red) is worth a try.

The environment is quite old-style oriented, towards the local traditions. Great choice of wines, tasty food specialties. Rely on the courtesy of the owner, that will guide you through the best matching between wines and food. The kitchen ranges between traditional and nouvelle cuisine, with a special talent in matching flavours and good taste! We'll return for dinner!

Piccolo locale intimo e familiare. Si possono gustare piatti tipici veneti e molte specialità toscane. Ottima cantina vini sia in bottiglie da 75cl che da 37,50. Vini alla mescita e squisite birre alla spina e in bottiglia. Per uno spuntino o x una cena f
Six of us from England and France met up here for a meal and could not have been made more welcome. Our tastes and different dietary requirements (one is allergic to dairy products and pork) were discussed amicably in a combination of French, English and Italian and beautifully catered for with excellent ingredients and traditional Italian cooking. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening staying late drinking with our friends and even tried the owners home-made Liqueurs.
