We had a great meal of pizza, antipasto salad, and fried cheese ravioli. Pretty good beer selection and the waitress was very efficient and attentive. It is a popular restaurant and seemed to also have a busy takeout counter. Our experience would have been more pleasant if the decor was updated, the vinyl on many chairs and booths was ripped and dark kind of dingy interior.

Been here a couple times and although they have some decent specials at times was not impressed with the food. Average at best and they need better selection to wow me. Good service, but just ok place.

D'Lish Gourmet Pasta & Pizza is currently located at 386 E H St, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Order your favorite pizza, pasta, salad, and more, all with the click of a button. D'Lish Gourmet Pasta & Pizza accepts orders online for pickup.
We'd been by the shopping plaza a bunch of times but never paid attention to what else was in there. We took a chance on D'Lish and WOW! The food is excellent. They're homemade bread you will devour like you're a death row inmate eating your last meal!. (The bread is not unlimited but if you sweet talk your waitress, they have been know to bring out an extra basket.) I've had the lasagna, the diablo chicken angel hair pasta, and the meatzilla pizza. All were top notch.

Hands down I would recommend the Antipasto Salad, and beware the large is HUGE! They do a great job not only with that but with the pizza. The crust is nice and chewy and very cheesy... The service was good, but nothing that would blow your shoes off.The only complaint would be the prices, it adds up real quick with just salad and pizza!

My wife and I went to Dinner tonight at Mangia Italiano in Chula Vista, and had a wonderful experience. Norma our server was Fantastic ! Norma has been a restaurant server for 55 years, and really know her business. Norma answered all of our questions about the menu items, and gave us her opinions on her favorite dishes to try. We started off our meal with a carafe of the House Chianti wine which was very good. My wife ordered the EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA which had fresh sliced eggplant with ricotta and romano cheese, baked in marinara sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese and served with a side of pasta. Her meal came with Minestrone Soup or a salad. She had the soup which was very tasty. I had the STUFFED SHELLS FLORENTINE which had large pasta shells stuffed with ricotta cheese, spinach and herbs in your choice of marinara or cream sauce, then topped with mozzarella cheese and baked to perfection. This meal was delicious ! I also had the Caesar salad with my meal. I also ordered a side order of Garlic Bread, and the meal came with some yummy freshly baked Focaccia Bread. Mangia Italiano also offers a Buffet, all you can eat lunch Tuesday thru Friday, and on Tuesday nights. They also has a very nice Bar area and 2 private banquet and party areas for larger parties and events. A very nicely decorated restaurant, with very good Food and Service.

I used to like this place...not sure if I would return.they happy hour is okay. They used to have a kabob with mashed potatoes that was very good..they no longer serve that...too bad. I had their tomato with cheese salad..it was okay...bread on the side was good.. I forgot what my husband ordered whatever it was he liked...prices are too much..not sure if I would return...on a positive note.staff is efficient and the bathrooms are normally clean.

This cozy shopping center eatery offers Neapolitan pizzas, wine & salads, plus outdoor seating.
I've eaten here 4 times in the last 3 weeks. Each time I've had a different waiter. Every one of them plus the other staff have been very friendly, helpful and provided outstanding service. We're pleasantly greeted upon arrival. We've had 4 different Pizzas, the basic small salad (enough for 2) and the lasagna. Everything was simply delicious. Prices are reasonable; food quality excellent; service is outstanding. You get a nice view of downtown SD and Point Loma from some of the indoor seating. Excellent craft beer options. Another plus is the military discount. This is out go to place now.

Definitely go here for great Italian food and service! We were greeted warmly by Dago who also was our server, and offered a table very quickly. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio, and we both ordered Caesar salads. With my order of chicken Parmesan with veggies, I added a side of pasta with the most amazing sauce! My husband tried the spaghetti carbonara. The food was cooked perfectly, the portions were generous and the service could not have been better!
