The restaurant is very simple but has a nice atmosphere. The food is excelent. Delicious homedishes are offered. The service is very nice as well.We ate one of the most delicious chocolate cake I' ve ever tryed.A good place for people who enjoy eating typical food( friulana in this case) very fresh and homemade.

An old alpine shepherd's hut built in the 30's was transformed in a restaurant about 20 year ago. It is placed on a hillock and from the top you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Mangart group in the Julian Alps. Local Friulian cuisine (Frico with polen

Food was so so, a strange uncooked antipasti, tasted like a sweet cake, not really waht you want to start dinner with.We got some meat, half was with fat and stuff you couldnt eat, but the wine and price was ok.

This place was very convenient for our biking group. Lunch was served family style. It was a tasty lunch. Restrooms are primitive.

We travelled all the way up from Sella Nevea to the top of the mountain to eat and sleep at this Malga after we had seen a feature on it on Rai Uno. The views are breathtaking and amazing for a walkabout. Our room was comfortable with new furnishings throughout, although we could not close our bedroom door as there wasn't a lock and anyone could have come into the room. This might seem trivial to some but considering that there is a lights out at 23:00 meaning that if you wake up to take a piss u cannot see where you are going because there isn't even a candle in the room. You cannot charge your cell phone during the night. Pitch black inside and out until 05:30 am when electricity is switched back on. No one told us about lights out so imagine our surprise. Taking a shower is also a tiring task because one must leave the shower water running at least 20min for the water to run warm since the stove is situated on the other side of the Malga. Dinner was a huge let down, hearty vegetable soup which turned out to be frozen veg swimming in water. The Frico and Polenta were probably prepared during lunch time and just re-heated so the cheese was sticky and rubbery. To make matters worse, all crockery and cutlery were made of jablo or plastic. Breakfast consists of bread, butter and homemade yogurt. Not even a slice of their famous homemade cheese or salumi to put on your bread.... These people have a long way to go to learn about hospitality for people sleeping over. Oh and the wifi is private and they will not give you the password.

Great place for a rest during skiing. Lovely location and nice atmosphere. Good food - we took gulash soup, appfelstrudel, hot chocolate. Prices are average, as for every shelter high in mountains. Each time we ski on Sella Nevea its our favorite stop.

Yes, a grill can be "comfortable" aren't you agree? well, if you are "on the road" in highway A23 (E55) direction-north you can stop at the "area di parcheggio resia" and walk off the highway, or if you're traveling on the road 13 just to park in front of the grill. And test it. :o)not wrong address (next door is "vecchia rosticceria" to high prices and poor local tastes horrible, I can guarantee).Grill is a common thing in all the world, so don't expect a five-stars gourmet restaurant, but the beer. the chicken and potatoes are very good: Finally, the environment is really spacious and comfortable, unusual in a simple grill.

I was there on my way from Austria to Florence. Nice staff, great pasta. It is located in small roadside town.
