About 30 of our business colleagues came for dinner at Harry Carayâs Italian Steakhouse. We had a great time with outstanding food and service. Salad was fresh and steak was cooked to perfection. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant is beautiful with outstanding decor. A great experience! We are thrilled you and your colleagues had a great time at dinner. Glad we could impress and hope to host you again in the future!

Heard amazing things so I was really looking forward to this. The restaurant has that old Italian feel with what looked like old school service as well.Had bruschetta and a meat and cheese board to start, both were good. The wine selection that my friends made was also great.Main course was whitefish and it was honestly terrible. I took one bite and left it on my plate... It was mushy and tasted strange. It's a shame as I was expecting something different. Not sure if I would return

Forget curbside tables, an inner courtyard, which is really outdoors was the perfect setting for dinner. Hot crusty bread starters, large well tossed salads, and huge portions of well seasoned, eye appealing dishes provided culinary satisfaction. Think of splitting pasta orders, especially if you want to finish with a delicious dessert. We made reservations and had no wait. Wait staff was prompt and attentive. And since my choice would be made to order, I was told it would take 30 minutes to prepare.

We are so lucky to have so many high quality Italian restaurants in Chicago. We have been wanting to try Riccardo's, but every time we tried there were no available seats. Finally, we planned far enough ahead and are glad we finally dined here. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Among the four of us we had saltimbocca, a pasta carbonara, a fish and asparagus and lamb chops. All were done perfectly. The chef was not happy with the quality of the salmon he had that day and substituted a trout that made the dish just as good. We also sampled a tarta ricatta, tarta mele, panna cotta and sorbet. the desserts were just as good as the main courses. While the small space is a bit noisy, we could still converse. We found it interesting that there was a wide range of ages of the Saturday night dinner guests - young children to mature seniors.

Classic Italian dishes with a contemporary flair have made Trattoria No.10 a Chicago favorite since 1989. Specialties on the seasonal menu include unique, homemade ravioli, rustic pastas, freshly prepared risotto, sustainable fish selections and grass fed
Great atmosphere - awesome wait staff. The butternut squash and acorn ravioli was outstanding. Had the prosciutto wrapped prawns as app - also very good. Highly recommend. The kidsâ menu was less than desirable. Our kids had the chicken. It was a half a chicken breast cut in half - making it thinner. One thin piece per child and was cooked to the consistency of a hockey puck. Because the adult food was so good, great atmosphere and friendly wait staff, going with 4 star instead of 3 stars.Thank you so much for taking the time to write and for the feedback regarding the kids meals. You comments have sparked a conversation with the chefs about how to best execute the kids menu and we will definitely be improving on it for the future. Great to hear that you enjoyed the prawns and squash ravioli...those are 2 of our most popular items!

Sapori Trattoria is an upscale, yet casual and quaint Italian restaurant in Chicago's Lincoln Park, serving delicious housemade pasta and other classic Italian dishes. The popular neighborhood restaurant features an innovative presentation of Italian cuis
We were guests of friends for a chatty get together during a recent visit to Chicago. The restaurant was an eclectic mix of old world charms that took advantage of fair summer weather to open windows and fill curbside tables. It had a big crowd for a midweek evening. The wines by the glass were respectable and the menu itself was deep with traditional trattoria appetizers and entrees. The fried calamari and bruschetta were excellent. Each of us selected an entryâthree were pastas. Once the entrees arrived we realized that one was sufficient to feed the four of us. We each did what we could but our hosts ended up taking about 5 lbs of leftovers for their return trip home. The food was home style and I gathered nobody visits this place just for the food. Overall it was an enjoyable get together.Thank you for taking the time to review Sapori. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your experience and especially the appetizers. Our dishes are indeed homely and comfort-food-y, which is not for everyone. Thanks again and we appreciate your feedback!

RPM Italian presents cuisine that is modern in approach and Italian in spirit, with dishes intended to be shared. Chef partner Doug Psaltis has created a menu which features a variety of cold and hot antipasti, more than a dozen freshly prepared in-house
Iâm in Chicago on business by myself. My husband and I had been to RPM Italian soon after it opened a few years back. The food was memorable that time so in coming back to Chicago I knew I wanted to visit again. Even though I was by myself, I made a reservation. When I arrived I was greeted - bar was empty so I asked to sit there which was fine. Benjamin was my server. He was a good bartender and server - not overly friendly but that was fine with me. The food was as good as I remembered. Burrata followed by bucatini with meatballs. Fantastic drink selections - I had a non alcoholic drink followed by a lovely Super Tuscan wine. I ended dinner with a perfect cappuccino. Iâll definitely return next time in Chicago.

Charming old place that's O.K. for everyone. Basic menu at very good prices for downtown and generous portions. I have been here twice with big parties and everything is very good. Very friendly service also.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. Reservations are recommended, and we were seated promptly upon our arrival. This is a busy place on a Friday night, energetic atmosphere, with families and couples of all ages. We had the Burrata special and grilled vegetables, and the pulpo as our appetizers. All delicious, but the Burrata was amazing, soft and creamy and a nice sized portion. Seemed most people ordered one pizza per person but since we had 3 apps, we ordered 3 pizzas for the 4 of us which was plenty. We had the Funghi, the Diavola, Prosciutto e Rucola. All delicious and cooked perfectly. Our service wa very good as well. When we were leaving they offered us mini homemade cannoli on the way out! YUMMY!! Highly recommend you give Spacca a try.

It took the right week day night and early time to get in, and we experienced why thatâs the case. We know: acclaimed celebrity chef, beard award winner, hip west loop location but every accolade rings true in every dish we ordered. The arancini was so crisp and beautiful in its bed of tonno aioli that it seemed like desecrating it to eat it. That thought disappeared after the first bite. The skate schnitzel topped with tiny tomatoes, red chili, fennel, accompanied by a small salad and butter beans was one of the most creative dishes weâve had.House baked rye grissini were easy to love.we shared the blueberry lemon sundae with blondes for dessert which was beyond description. Cocktails were among the best ever. My old fashioned was just sweet and potent enough and crushed ice chips vs a large cube was inventive. As expected, service couldnât be better. We will look forward to coming back for pasta. Superb.
