I went to Bacco e Arianna for a business dinner. On the west side of Milan (Trezzano S.N.), it is a small and cozy place. Food quality and presentation at the top. Wine selection limited although at reasonable price. Overall price a bit more than market level. Main dish (secondo piatto) in average 25 â¬.

Been here for a business lunch last week. This restaurant is really something else! Divided to 3 sections - Bücherei, wine, cheese and pasta for sale, plus the restaurant which was quite busy as well. Great food, kind Italian hospitality... we shared the wine with our next door table so we could order white and red all together, full on Italian! The owner is a famous wrestler from the 80's and a really sweet guy! He constantly came to our table to check how we're doing and at the end he spoiled us with a pistachio liquor, which was really tasty! The whole thing cost us half of what it would have cost in center of Milan so it's really a good genuine low cost Italian place, just like in Sicily! The entire experience was totally unforgettable. Will definitely go back there again next time in Milan!

I was in this restaurant with foreign guests on a business trip. Actually the selection of this restaurant was a 'second best' because we could not find a good place for meat in the area and so we went for this Neapolitan fish specialties. We didn't regret the choice because the food was excellent, the service fast and competent. We will return in other occasions. Only delusion: they did not serve 'pastiera', the traditional Neapolitan cake because it was not the right day (they do not prepare the cake everyday): ask for it when you make the reservation if you want to be sure to taste it!

we came into the restaurant with quite high expectations, since TripAdvisor has given very favorable ratings for Entree. I secretly thought I would be disappointed, but to my happy surprise, I was not! The experience was pure delight! We started with a lentil puree, complements of the chef, then had gamberi for antipasti--both were VERY NICE! for the main dish we tried the risotto and the salmon, which were also SU.PER.GOOOD. we said there wasn't room for dessert (the portions are generous) but we couldn't resist, so we had the chocolate cake, espresso brulee and panettone tiramisu, which were all mouth-wateringly fine. The service was superb, too. bonus for english speakers (who can't engage in italian yet): you'd be delighted to know you can have a decent conversation with the staff in english.

Donât go to a fancy place in Milano! Go here instead! Fantastic grilled meats served with great side dishes. The best food we had in a long time! A lady spoke English and helped us with the process of ordering. We asked her to pick the best and we had a fantastic meal! And donât miss shopping at the little store across from the macelleria. The nice man there has all the best food from Puglia! Focaccia, wine, cheese and cookies, and lots more!

A very pleasant-looking place, an old stagecoach station - if a bit aggressively restored. We appreciated very much stuffed chicken and risotto with beetrots and fresh cheese (goat, maybe). The risotto managed to taste rich and intense by combining two mild, complementary flavours. The owner enthused about desserts from Domenico Spadafora, a famous patissier. We found them good, but less impressive than the main courses. All very pleasant except unclear rules for applying discounts, or so we felt. To be specific, the main courses we ordered were both in the day's specials (not discounted) and in the menu. We were told the discount applies to dishes in the menu, so we expected it. What a sad way to spoil a good experience.

I have the luck of living not more than 1km from La Coccinella. Despite cooking pizza by myself most of the times (I simply love it), once every 5-6 weeks I take it at La Coccinella which represents for me an absolute must in terms of quality and taste. I agree with other people when they say that prices are not the cheapest, but in my view a couple of euros spent are worth the product. I absolutely recommend it!!!!
