At all of the restaurants I had meals this restaurant had the best view. You have a panoramic view of Celano. The pasta, wine and service was excellent. The decor, location to other attractions are perfect. It is highly recommended, especially English tourists.

If you want to try some local speciality, I can warmly recommend this place. The hole menu is well made, all the dishes are tasty and fresh. The best homemade pasta I have eaten ever. They have really good wines aswell. And don't missed the wonderful desserts at the end of the meal, the tiramisu is especially recommend. The staff is nice.

If you like thin based pizzas this is the place to eat. They have a great selection of toppings quite simple but very delicious.

Took the meat based entree with salame, etc. Not so fantastic. Followed by wild boar pasta(average), and grilled lamb main dish.(over cooked but ok). Maybe next time I should try the pizza and beef instead as it seems to be ordered by many other customers. Overall portion is big, price is very reasonable. Average or so so food (meat based). Have yet to validate the pizza and fish... So many next time.

Always owned by the Piccone family, the Al Castello restaurant is the ideal place to savor typical Abruzzese cuisine, surrounded by an intimate atmosphere in the green of the Marsica from a position overlooking the Fucino plain. To taste absolutely homema
Visited with a recommendation from a friend and I've never been more impressed. The ristorante itself is fantastically decorated by the owner who built the venue himself, with a great atmosphere and wonderfully friendly staff. The food was incredibly flavourful and well portioned, and was served quickly by the amazing staff. I can wholy recommend this ristorante for any newcomers or locals to Aielli!

Stopped for lunch on this quiet place on the side of the road. Great view of the mountains and Piccolomini castle. The owner and cook were very nice and hospitable and the food was great. Had a mushroom soup with great character and delicious grilled lamb. Overall we were very pleased with our meal.

We were greeted by one of the cooks, and also saw nonna coming out of the kitchen(which is always a good sign)As vegetarians the choice was limited but they were very accomodating. We had a very tasty cereal soup with sourdough bread. This was followed by ravioli and another pasta dish. The castle is at 2 passi from here and is ideal if also wanting to visit the castle. The staff are the best thing about this restaurant as they are passionate about their offering. No idea how much the wine was but it was delicious!
