New restaurant just open last friday
We have dined here several times and they have been outstanding experiences. The restaurant is notes for its ambiance, food and its service. Usually outstanding. This past Sunday we went for their brunch with a party of five including a birthday girl. Service and ambiance were outstanding as usual but not so with the food. As an appetizer we ordered a mushroom pizza. Their pizza is thin crust and wonderful. The same for the burger. Not so with the corned beef hash, pasta and French toast entrees.. Pasta was nothing special, the French toast got just a quick dip in egg, and the corned beef hash had one inch square cubes of meat that was difficult to even chew and was left on the plate. We hope to return but not for their Sunday brunch. We know they can do better because they have in the past. What a disappointment.
Baroneâs thin crust pizza is my favorite in a town with tons of very good alternatives. Generous toppings, great crust, tasty sauce; Iâve never been disappointed in the pizza over many years. Then... thereâs everything else. Sandwiches and pasta are all substandard, especially compared with other local places. Donât hesitate to get a party sized Italian sausage thin crust, but feel free to skip everything else.

I loved this small Italian restaurant. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I genuinely felt they were glad we stopped in. The food is outstanding. Fresh home made pasta makes all of the difference. I highly recommend whatever the pasta special is. I planned on leftovers with my large serving of gnocchi but soon found myself staring at an empty bowl. My spouse had Dover sole and it was again, outstanding. I look forward to our next visit.

Let me start by saying any place that starts you off with a generous wine pour and table side salad prep automatically wins my heart. Add family recipes of Italian favorites with innovative and ever changing daily specials and five stars it is. Iâve enjoyed the clams, lasagna and eggplant parmigiana off the regular menu and each was delicious. Daily specials are always a Canât miss option as well. Add in the always great service and I have found my favorite local Italian restaurant.
I live in the area, and come here a lot. I've never had anything I didn't like. I consider Portillo's/Barnelli's to be one big restaurant. No matter which line you are in, you can order from either menu. The salads never disappoint, am a big fan of the chopped salad and the chicken salad with fruit. The chili is good. The tomato bisque soup with spinach and orzo, which is a special some days, is one of my favorite soups. I frequently dine here with a big group, and everyone seems to like that particular soup. Sandwiches are good as well. I am a connoisseur of chocolate milkshakes, and theirs is really good (although I prefer it plain, without the cake!) And it's all super-reasonable. They are famous for their chocolate cake, tasty! The restaurant itself is noisy, but it's part of the ambience. Don't be put off by the always-long lines at the drive-through. They do a better job than any drive-through line I've ever been in at moving it along quickly.

Zazzo's has served hot, fresh pizza, pasta, and bar favorites in Darien, IL for over 25 years! Check out our weekday lunch buffet in our urban space.
Went here because we heard the pizza was great but we were not really impressed. They definitely have the bar atmosphere and an extensive menu for dining. Everything is way overpriced for the location/quality/quantity. $20 range for a cheese pizza. Pizza is alright but nothing proprietary. Ours was under-baked. Also had minestrone soup - 0 flavor. Eggplant sub had more fried batter than actual eggplant on it, couldn't find the eggplant. Mostaccioli was also rough. Unfortunately the service was not great either. We called ahead to order our pizza because we heard it takes a while, and then took about 25 minutes for the two entrees we ordered at the restaurant, when only one other table was there. Really, truly, so many better options out there than here. Maybe order their pizza for carry-out, but still way over-priced.We appreciate the review and truly apologize for your experience. If you check our Facebook page or website we have many great coupons and offers that can lower the bill! We hope you give it a look and see us again soon!

My customer suggested we go here to meet and have lunch. The service was very fast, but the mistake I made was ordering a salad during Lent. I thought it was safe, but not much going on there. My customers enjoyed their beef sandwich and pizza, but mine was average. Perhaps something else, meatless, should have been in order?

We're very picky about our Pizza ingredients. Our homemade dough is made with tipo "00" flour to create the classic crisp and chewy crust, our sauce is made with San Marzano tomatoes, and our fresh mozzarella is made right here in the restaurant. Of cours
My husband, daughter and I had our first trip on a Friday night and there wereVery few people in the restaurant. My husband and daughter ordered the meatball and sausage pizza and a white sauce chicken pizza. Both loved them! I had the Triple Berry Salad with grape vinaigrette over arugula and it was amazing! So much Salad I couldnât eat it all. It had apples, cranberries, grapes, blackberries, candies pecans and so much flavor. Very fresh, too. The ice cream was very good as well with huge servings!

Family owned, providing the best homemade Italian food with recipes by Mama Capri. The Capri Express restaurant caters, delivers and fills pick up orders. Our guests are family!
The Capri is always reliable. Every item is first rate. My go toâs are scampi Florentina and baccala. Always fab. An obnoxious tv show was playing and we asked for a channel change. It happened pronto. The owner cane to our table and sat with us for a while. He was charming and personable no wonder he has built this mega successful restaurant.

The best Italian food in the burbs of Chicago. Grilled calamari, sausage giambotta, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli (homemade noodles), best chicken Vesuvio , eggplant parm and chicken parm second to none! Dark, large restaurant great for large parties, bar area always hopping.
