Our first time here. Reasonably conversation friendly. Bread comes with cooked garlic spread. Yummy. Enjoyed our salads. Mrs. especially enjoyed her pasta primavera. I had the very large, off the menu special, veal Milanese. Was good but probably not something I would order again next time back. Service was very good.

We read the many reviews written about this restaurant and decided to try even though they seemed a little pricey. The only thing we found accurate about the reviews was that it was over priced. The menu lacked much variety. There was no reasonable small dinner salad just $8.00 options. I tried the special for the night, chicken Vesuvio. Three small thick and tough breasts. The potatoes were soggy not crisp like most potatoes served with this dish. With so many good Italian restaurants why pay more for this inferior venue.

I went to this restaurant this month for a luncheon with some coworkers. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, calamari, spicy shrimp, chicken parm -> all was excellent. Excellent location for Large Parties. The Service was just OK. My first visit to this restaurant. Lovely building, elegant dining room. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Lots of variety on menu & ample wine list. I ordered chicken saltimbucco â the prosciutto, cheese, and sauce were delicious, but the chicken was over cooked. Two colleagues beef entrees were perfectly cooked, and the seafood assortment delicious. I will definitely return with my spouse

Pastabilities is located in a medium sized mall at the northeast corner of McHenry Rd. & Lake Cook Rd. There is plenty of parking in front. We went for lunch and decided on sharing a meatball sandwich and a side Caesar salad. Both tasted great. The staff was friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We'll be back for dinner to create our very own pasta creations. Just like home, but without the mess!

Good service but mediocre food. Tables are squeezed together so seating is almost communal. Chairs nearly touch each other and navigating between tables an adventure. Of seven entrees served, three were sent back for reheating. Server was highly apologetic and offered complimentary dessert. Nothing here screams "return" as there are many Italian restaurants available rated higher.
