Night out from resort to visit the town - unfortunately market now finished but we had a terrific meal at Mama's on their terrace - the canopy decorated by bunches of dried pasta!! Service a bit lackaday - given a nice table (having reserved from hitel reception) but we had to ask for a menu after 5 minutes staring into space . Then we also had to ask for a wine list. We ordered food wine a& water and were served a basket of bread (though 2.50 euros per cover left my eyes watering slightly) then left to it for 10 minutes. Then the "mussel and clam sop" arrived which was a marvellous moules mariniere Italian tomato sauce style and not really soup at all..delicious though - and the waiter brought a paper apron to protect my shirt - very useful. Mozzarella and tomato salad also good.Pizzas next - huge and authentic with grea base and toppings - we couldn't finish them. The chilli oil was requested came tiely but was not very lively - a pity as we would expect a good bite to chilli oil in Italy. Our recommended wine was fabulous Sardinian Red - Eminas which is a Sardinian Grenache - deep, dry and full of flavour.

Great genuine food, if you are in the area with a private car. Off the beaten tracks, on the hills of Budoni just 5 Km from the center town. Fixed menu with wine and sweets. Cheese, local hand made pasta, and roasted baby pork melts in your mouth.

we found the restaurant il giardinetto on our second evening in budini. the restaurantis furnished very nice and the atmoshere was quiet and relaxed. the staff was very friendly and well trained and the the young man served us professional during our dinner there.we choosed icecold beer, antipasti and ordered one pizza napoli and one pizza capriciosa, the side order was frash mixed salad. everthing was prepared with fresh ingrediants and tasted very well. also the dishes we could see on the neighbour tables looked great and very tasty. the grappa at least was also good.the price for the dinner was okay and the quality was good.we can recomment the restaurant il giardinetto very much. we had a good dinner in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Its a very good restaurant with fantastic view, classic and smart with high attention to details. The staff is nice but... not enough!! And for that reasons the service is very slow... even more than an hour to get the food.Nice dishes, good food... little expensive... but we have to pay the location!Good anyway!

Simple seating but excellent pizza. Innovative toppings like swordfish, tomatoes and pine nuts which was really delicious. Dough was perfect, crunchy on the edges and the right thickness. Server was very kind and attentive. Also great for takeaway.

what if you call at this for more than 10 times in 5 years and you experience every time the same feeling of simplicity and familiarity ? they want you to taste everything because everything comes from their hands, from their roots, from their life. Try thier Pecorino, do not hesitate to ask for more wine, enjoy fresh ricotta with miele ... but do, do, do taste their Porceddu ... only a couple of resturants cook it in from of a fire (the others cook it in a modern oven) ... the overview of Spiaggia of Budoni is wordless ! and there is a children area

the restaurant has a large air-conditioned room and a veranda where meals can be enjoyed. There is a large garden and a nice sea-view corner where you can savor aperitifs
Not far from the sea you can breath the rural inland atmosphere with its incredible scents and tastes. The owner is passionate about the sardinian inland specialties, sometimes reinterpreting them with creativity. She was able to overwhelm my senses with just a round of appetizers: I still remember the cardoon in oil, dried ricotta, spicy pecorino on carasau bread, sweet and sour pork morsels with chestnuts and pachino, and a lot more.As first course you should try not so easy to find specialties like the culurgiones (or curzones) and the isonzas with saffron and cornflowers.Regarding the drinks, you must not miss the superb red wine served here, and in the end the "mirto" and the "filuferru" with honey. The service is excellent, informal and friendly.

Fabulous local cuisine. Literally mama in the kitchen, father roasting the pig in the outhouse and son hosting. Masses of local treats, I think 10 courses, to try. With local wine included. Only â¬35 per adult. Allow lots of time - we were there 2.5 - 3 hours but you needed it. Plenty of time to digest between courses. No menu - course after course just arrives as a surprise.Semi outdoor - under cover but with sides open for view.

nice place in centre of San Teodoro, special menu about food from the centre of the Gennargentu. Winery grill - Ham of the gennargentu
The meat was the worse that we have ever had. The tagliata di manzo was uneatable event if we got it changed once. The mixed grill hade a nice sausage but the pork and beaf ess chewy and impossible to cut. The wine recomendation was good but the coffe came with goatmilk and was undrinkable.salute, si ho intuito il vostro disappunto, purtroppo a volte comprare carne dai pastori procura alcuni incovenienti, tuttavia la taglata è stata sostituita, il latte di capra è piaciuto al signore che ha gradito, per il resto perdono non si può non ammirare l'eleganza della signora svedese un abbraccio
