We visited this restaurant recently. It was a family outing and trust me when I say this, they were the best Pizzas we had ever eaten. My Soppressa was amazing to say the least. Our server was also fantastic, helping us decide and always smiling. The dessert, Sweet goat's cheese tiramisu was heavenly. If you are ever in Melbourne, just don't miss this gastronomical experience.

We just saw this place close to our accommodation so we thought that we would give it a go. Wow this place had such delicious food along with delightful service. We haven't had such nice Italian food for ages. This is a place to dine at when you come to Melbourne.

Authentic Neapolitan cuisine with a hint of Melbourne, thatâs 400 Gradi. Home to the award-winning margherita pizza and oh-so-sweet pizze dolce. Where the pizza is baked to 400 degrees and eating dessert first is never frowned upon. A place where fine Ita
Super pizza and pasta in a great location in Lygon Street. The gnocchi is particularly good and in my view some of the best in Melbourne.

This has to be one of the best italian restaurants Iâve eaten at. The place is beautifully small and like a typical little trattoria. The menu is small but has something for everyone. We went with our two children and the staff bent over backwards to accomodate them. The scaloppine were tender and very tasty. Our antipasti was the best I have had and not dripping in oil and vinegar with the tastes of each dish individually distinguished. To save the best for last, they made a Zabaglione to die for. I have hardly ever seen a restaurant put that on the menu.Definitely a place to come back to as there were a lot of dishes coming out of the kitchen which looked amazing.

Cosy restaurant featuring Sicilian inspired cuisine in the heart of Brunswick East. Open 7 day a week from 6pm.
Bar Idda is located in an historical building full of charm and character. The service is welcoming and helpful and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. It is not a place for a quiet, peaceful meal, at least on a Friday night. We chose the smaller set menu which includes a variety of small portions that add up to a satisfying amount of food. The various dressings and sauces are very good, one of the highlights. The barramundi encrusted with almonds was a stand out. There is a good selection of local and Sicilian wines to choose from along with cocktails and craft beers. We had a very happy night out to celebrate a special occassion!

This iconic Italian restaurant was established in 1980. Inspired by traditional Italian home style cooking, Piccolo Mondo offers a delicious range of home made pasta, freshly caught seafood, a great selection of steaks, chicken and veal. Piccolo Mondo als
This restaurant was soooo good! The food and The Staff was 10/10. We Walked in without a reservation, Great atmosphere inside and the service was friendly and attentive, but the food, OMG the food was Authentic Italian at its best! So fresh and tasty, We had Arancini, Osso Bucco and spaghetti marinara and it couldn't have been better, And to top it off we had a affagato and Latte once again 10/10. If you want to treat your self to the Authentic Italian food this is the place to go. Definitely Highly Recommended

Our menu was drawn up with special focus on homemade pasta, which we prepare every day using fresh natural ingredients. We use prime quality ingredients imported from Italy as well as select Australian products. To ensure genuine Venetian taste and style
We loved the entire experience in Da Guido. Be the Italian dishes made to perfection and very courteous friendly staff, the overall ambience, everything was remarkable. We ordered the Calamari salad, Duck breast with cocktail potatoes, seafood spaghetti and Seared Salmon with Avocado, along with Chianti...everything was perfect! Fine dining restaurant that gives you an unforgettable experience! Keep it up.

Step back in time as you enjoy your meal in a friendly relaxed family run business.
For my last night in Melbourne I dined at il Cantuccio, a traditional style, Italian restaurant . Inside decor was very dark & traditional, very cosy: staff were all Italian. I chose Involtini, a traditional Calabrese dish: beef topside rolled with parsley, pecorino cheese, pesto and slowly baked with capers, anchovies, tomato & chilli, served with rustic Italian style veggies. Very enjoyable especially when I got to the capers & anchovies stuffing. The staff were very friendly and exuded typical Italian passion for life & food: they treat you like family! Highly recommended.

It was just a quiet Anniversary lunch in a relatively small restaurant, but it was all class. The elegant surroundings exuded the world of Italy, there was good table separation and the waiters were attentive and friendly with no trace of obsequiousness. There were Interesting food specials alongside an already very good menu and an excellent selection of wines - by the glass or bottle. Our antipasti was interesting, my fillet steak and my wifeâs King George whiting were cooked to perfection and the servings were of good size. The timing of the courses was perfect - neither too slow, nor too quick - and one felt one was being carefully looked after. The restaurant was recommended by a relative from Perth who dines at Scopri when in Melbourne. He must envy us living so close. We shall return.
