Anthony's Place specializes in Traditional, Fine Italian Cuisine. From our Homemade Red Wine and Draft Beers, to our Mouthwatering menu, to our delicious Homemade Italian Cheesecake, we love to cater to every aspect of the palette.
Anthonyâs Place is a family owned restaurant which has been in business in this neighborhood for a very long time. There is good reason; the food is delicious, with specials to keep the menu fresh, and a priced fixed menu certain days of the week. They feature a homemade red wine which is excellent. They start you with a generous basket of fresh Italian bread and fabulous garlic knots. Excellent seafood items on the menu. Service is friendly and attentive and prices are reasonable. Parking is on the street, which is sometimes a challenge. Highly recommend!!Suzy,Thank you very much for your kind review, we are more than happy to serve our wonderful customers :)

For a taste of Italy in the heart of Brooklyn, look no further than Gargiulo's. We are an authentic Italian restaurant serving delicious, traditional Neapolitan fare made from family recipes that have stood the test of time. Our food is unbeatable, made w
My wife and I went to Gargiulo's to celebrate Valentine's Day this past Saturday evening. I hadn't been there is some 35 years but I remembered how good it was back then. It's just as good if not better. We shared a shrimp cocktail and baked clams for an appetizer. She had lamb chops with a side order of penne while I had the veal chop with a side order of penne. It was absolutely delicious. The service was great. For anyone wanting great Italian food this is a must go to restaurant.

Went here for lunch with my partner after the Aquarium. Canât really comment on their pizzas as we both had large salads, me their house salad and she a Caesar salad. Both were large and very good. The pizzas looked good but we were not very hungry. Next time we go back we will try it. No slices, only whole pies and they donât accept credit cards. Overall very good

The service is impeccable. I have eaten all over the world and the service at Patrizia's is first class. The food is authentically Italian/Southern Italian & delicious. We ordered the family style special and it came with wine. When we finished our bottle, another was opened and placed on the table, unbelievable. The prices, especially the family style specials, are definitely great and overall prices are fair. The atmosphere is open & airy, and like you were just adopted by a big happy Italian family.I know they have other locations, but this location is right across the street from a wonderful waterfront strolling area. The only complaint would be that we were served too much food....life is tough :)Go, you will be glad you did!

very good Italian fare, typical choices and fair prices. Waiters are very attentive and checked to make sure we had everything we wanted. Owner/manager also checked to see if all was to our satisfaction

When in Brooklyn, please try! This is hands down one of my favorite Neapolitan style pizzas. I always try to make time to have some Totonnoâs pizza when in NY. Highly recommend. Keep in mind- they close when they run out of dough so I suggest going early always. Theyâve closed the doors 5 minutes after weâve come in to their establishment a couple of times so I wouldnât risk going late afternoon.

Beautiful waterfront dining in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Enjoy the view and savor the flavors of authentic Italian cuisine inspired by the sea.
We went for a birthday celebration dinner. It was dark and the beautiful view could not be enjoyed. We had the same server that we had before, but on this visit, he wasnât so great. He was late with appetizer plates, he didnât check up on us. The icing on the cake was when he got one of the orders completely wrong, and we had to wait another 15 minutes before It came. The food was good, but thereâs good food at other places too.

Stop in here for pizza every time Im in the Brooklyn, NYC area. This time we took two whole plain pies to go. Best Sicilian pie/ slices around. So good, I even ate leftovers cold for breakfast.

From the moment one reaches the front door of Michael's of Brooklyn, top-of-the-line service is apparent, and family atmosphere dominates. There are so few restaurants in this part of Brooklyn that equal the finer Manhattan traditional favorites. Michaels is the exception. Whether meat or fish, the preparation is superb. I make a point of ordering the Rack of lamb w/roasted garlic every other visit. The Italian sauces (now sold in supermarkets) set the standard for natural ingredients the home-made way. Next time you see a jar, read the label. While it may seem a little pricey to some, it's not a fast food chain, it's the real thing, and in my opinion, worth it.
