Il Casale is a delicious, really good restaurant with typical Calabrian fresh food cooked by the Nonna. I recommend Il Casale to everybody who want to eat good traditional Calbrian food in a amazing atmosphere. When we drove on the road leading to Il Casale were we a little sceptic because it was it was off road. When we arrived the owner Antonio was waiting for us on the balcony. It was a very warm welcome and he gave us all a hand. We saw his mother standing in the kitchen, waiting to cook some food. The menu offered all kinds of traditional Calabrian food for a good prize. The atmosphere was really pleasant and the view was beautiful. We ordered, after we translated the menu, the Anti Pasti from the house, drinks and some pastas. The Anti Pasti was a lot and had a really good taste. The pastas were really good with a bite, as all pastas should be. The pasta with swordfish was an absolute delicious taste experience. After the meal Antonio asked us for some Limoncello which was also delicious. After that we went home but not before we had thanked Antonio.

We ate here after being recommended this restaurant by the owners of the apartment we rented and it didn't disappoint.This is the only restaurant that we saw which has the English translations of the food on the menu. This made our ordering a lot simpler! The waiting staff also speak a good level of English. One of my sons had a grilled veal steak with chips, which was cooked to perfection. The rest of us (2 adults and 1 child) had pizza, which were all delicious. The ice-cream desserts are worth a mention too as they were truly lovely.This restaurant also has a gelaterie (ice-cream parlour) next door which we went to the day before. They serve the most amazing Italian ice creams along with coffee, tea and other snacks. Definitely worth going into as it overlooks the beach too. Gorgeous views!For the restaurant we ate indoors as at this time of year it's dark and cooler in the evenings.We loved this restaurant and would recommend it if you're in the region.

One of the most breath taking places I have ever visited. Perfect food matching the perfect view. Friendly staff and quality service, not very expected in relaxed Calabria. Even a glass of vine is spectacular event. Recommendation for everybody.

Every time I visit this bar , to haver some pizza or, who knows , o bber or o coca colla with my husband , I find myself in the best of my moods , because here there are lots of persons that, simply ,express joy and fun. The only simple way of meeting somebody dear , to have a drink or to eat something , becomes a pleasant and lovely experience to live relaxing moments. And all that happens instantly , only just taking a look to the emblem of this bar formed by the three monkeys. So , only uttering , saying to someone " I go to the " Monkeys " means that you go to a joyful and funny place.

We were recommended to this restaurant. The drive up was a little tense, but it was worth it. Our waiter, Guiseppe, was friendly and funny. He didnât speak too much English, but we managed to understand--he was so much fun and spoke with all the patrons. Heâs a a valuable asset to the restaurant. We arrived at 8 and found the restaurant to be quiet. It didnât get busy until 9:30. We sat outside and were able to view the goings on of the town at the top of the hill. This is a lovely spot, both inside and out. One dish in particular, the fusilli with cippolla was excellent.

Colpito dalla location e dalla gentilezza dei proprietari. Antipasti eccellenti, piatti abbondanti e di estrema qualità . Carne fatta al momento sulla brace e scelta dal bancone. Servizio non eccellente da parte di qualche ragazzo ma non si nota perché abbondantemente compensato dal resto degli aspetti. Bravi.

We came here one evening after hearing how good it was, I was very pleased to see there is a childrenâs menu as I have a very fussy 6 year old. We chose a mixed grill and some lamb skewers, my daughter had wurstel and patatine. The food was lovely, the meat was nice and tender and the beers went down a treat. Very friendly and helpful staff and the service was quick plus it was a very reasonable price. Will definitely be back.

We arrived just a little late for lunch- only one other couple. The host was great - really helpful and great service. Antipasti and both a secondi - tuna and trout. The owner was very helpful - hopefully it will be busier next time. Price is average...

Ristorante pizzeria non semplice da raggiungere, ma chiedendo un po in giro ci si arriva. Speravamo in una buona pizza, ma purtroppo appena arrivati abbiamo visto mancava il forno a legna..... che dire, la pizza non è stata il massimo. Servizio lento, prezzi medi.
