This BYOB offers food that tastes like an italian grandma's recipes: the classics, simply and carefully prepared. I enjoy their lemon vinegarette dressing over fresh salad greens, and the selection of warm breads and a dipping sauce is a wonderful appetizer. I've tried several of their dishes over a few visits and have enjoyed the food each time. This isn't the fanciest italian place, but it is clean and comfortable. It doesn't offer unusual menu options, but if you like traditional dishes you can't go wrong.

Had a cheese pizza which was very good. the counter staff brought the pizza to my table. The right amount of crust thickness to cheese and tomato sauce. You can eat in, take out or they can deliver. Open 7 days a week. Their menu has coupons you can use to save a few bucks off your order. Liocated in the small strip mall next to Kohl's.

Located in Shoprite Shopping Center on Chews Landing Road. There is plenty of parking during most times of the day. It is typically busy but seating is usually pretty easy to get. The service is very quick and attentive. The food range from pizza to specialty sandwiches is good for most tastebuds.

We've been here several times with varying results that are generally average. Â Sandwiches are okay although they still couldn't get a burger right after extensive friendly discussion. Â Pasta has been decent. Â Chicken cutlets were good, but pretty much like what I'd make at home. Â Cost for dinner is in their favor, easy to have a cheap bill. Â Overall a decent-enough local joint. Â I'd say 2.5 or 2.75 stars but I can't, so do I go with 2 or 3?

Two weeks ago...positively out-of-this-world! Lobster Bisque fit for a king...Scallops & Jumbo Shrimp over Fettuccine Alfredo, exquisite! Couldn't eat it all. Had it the next night, for supper. Lee likes a "Zuppa Di Pesce" Filomena's version is Crabmeat, Clams & Shrimp Riviera. She's still raving about it.

I moved to this area almost 2 years ago and have been ordering from a different pizza place. After a bad experience with some not-so-fresh pineapple, we decided to try something new. Antonino's came up on Google as being "near me" so we tried it - ordered through GrubHub.The order came fast, the pizza was delicious (boyfriend lives in Philly and said this is the best NJ pizza he's had in a long time), and the pineapple was FRESH, which does not always happen!We will definitely be ordering from here for all of our pizza needs!

Yearly event to celebrate my husband's birthday. They put delicious bread and a plate of rustic peppers on the table to start. Full bar. My white wine was the just the right temperate. Other places serve it too warm. Started with an octopus appetizer which was very good and tender. The ceasar salads were good. Entrees were delicious. My triple chocolate mouse dessert was light and delicious. I have never had a bad meal at Filomena's.

Not from area but tried their plain pie and sausage pie! It was absolutely the bEST!!! The servers and lady behind counter was super friendly!!!! The lady even offered to open the door and car door for me cuz I was carrying a large pizza box!!!! I will definitely drive back here for the pie again.
