Nice coffee bar two steps from the train station. The owner Daniel and his team have put a big effort in serving high quality coffee and prepare it properly. They currently serve Diamante from Caffe Cocuma, an excellent coffee made in Biel/Bienne. The bar is small, but it ads to the charm. There are also fresh juices, teas, beeers, drinks, etc, plus panini and other snacks. Hasard is probably the only proper coffee bar - excluding chains like Starbucks and Spettacolo - in town (well Edu's in the old town has fantastic coffee (Cafefaro)but it's a combination of clothing/coffee shop). Another thing I like is that they can prepare your cappuccino/latte with soya bean/lactose free milk! Definitely worth stopping by, for it's coffee, juices and overall atmosphere.

They offer âmenu of the dayâ everyday. Today they offer: gnocchi bolognese and pizza. They cook gnocchi too long but the sauce is fine. I order pizza with prosciutto. The dough is good but the ham is average. The price is not so expensive and the service is fast. 2 menus plus 2 bikers and 1 tea is CHF40.

Had dinner here during a business trip. The restaurant is very cozy, and the staff and owner seemed very familiar towards the customers.Italian was the spoken and written language. The daily menu with the date on it was a nice touch.Had a salad and then a pasta dish with some homemade tomato sauce etc. Had a recommend wine to accompany the meal, very good.A good experience in a great atmosphere that indicated resembled what I have seen in Italy

Had Pasta alla Vongole. The food was delicious but service was slow. Got my food after 20mins and a follow up. The servers were very friendly. Take a seat outside and watch the day pass you by!

Food was very tasty. Large portion too. Pricing seemed average for Swiss. Nice to be able to sit outside on a warm evening,

We have eaten in this restaurant once or twice a year for several years and have usually been very pleased with the daily menu (menu du jour). However, this year we were more than disappointied. The wide pasta was enevenly cooked and generally overcookedâ-inexcusable for an Italian restaurant! The sauce was unrefined and one could have done better with a prepared product at the supermarket. Tha daily special should be very good for 18.50 Swiss Frances(about $19) and the staff should be aware that their offering was less than mediocre!

A romantic (small = intimate) restaurant with excellent food and wine. The service is impeccable - good advice for the wine and very quick and discreet. The lunch menus are good value and service is fast. This place is well worth a visit, for lunch or dinner.

Great authentic Italian food. Homemade pasta among the best I've ever had. Serves mostly pasta and pizza, with a few meat dishes. Highly recommended.

Not that many tables, but what you lose in size you win in taste. Very good example of an Italian kitchen. Good and friendly service. Maybe a bit costly
