We had gone into town on the strong recommendation to eat Dominican food next door but they were closed, so we ventured in to Capitan Kidd. Large, diverse menu, of mostly italian dishes. Right on the beach with great views. We had several appetizers and all were excellent. It is surrounded by other beach bars and a fun local scene for a beer or cocktail. Well lit and we felt safe walking around after our meal.

By far the best pizzeria ever. If you like thin crust wood fire over this is where you want to be. Our favorite are the crudo which is tomato, prosciutto, and mozzarella and the gustosa which is blue cheese and onion. They offer delivery too which is insanely quick!Absolutely go here when you are in the area.

One of my favs in Bayahibe....super Great pizzas, pasta dishes, meat dishes... A variety of food to choose from for an evening meal. Great prices, friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere and a great place to relax for a couple drinks and or something to eat. No visit to Bayahibe would be complete without at least one evening spent here.

First at all, if you want to use the pools, you have to pay a 40 dolars Fee each one. I dont understand, because if you are going to eat or drink, it should be included. It is normal place, food is ok, drinks in the Pool área are served in plástic glasses, this place not the great thing. In our group only two of us wanted to use the Pool area, so we paid for them 80 dolars. When we were there, waiting in the Pool área, having drinks, an waitress came to us telling that we had to pay for being seated there. We were in shock! First, because the girl was not nice to us. Second because they did not say that in the entrance, when we paid the 80 fee. It is my first and last time. Service was not great, we had to wait a Long time for a waiter. I think that for the price you pay, it has to be an unforgettable experience. I prefer so much Boca Marina or Neptunoâs.

Last weekend I went with my lady to Bayahibe in the Dominican Republic & on Sunday we were invited to the Kukka Beach restaurant on the magnificent BayahÃbe Beach.Kukka is the Dominican word for parrot & they actually have a live Hispanola Conure which is extremely friendly.Itâs a beautiful public beach & on Sunday, just watching the people is a true spectacle. We were greeted by Paolo de Vita & his lovely wife Lissette, had a nice welcome cocktail, then they accompanied us through their delicious menu. Everything is simple but scrumptious! All the plates were well prepared & presented, (Paolo is a renowned chef with the Academy of Italian Cusine), plus the service was friendly & very courteous. The King crab was off the charts, paired perfectly with a chilled Pinot Grigio from the Alto Adige of 2017.We tried various specials, all of which very tasty. We also enjoyed the local band playing Dominican Merengue & Bachata, plus we even had the opportunity to dance a few songs! When you visit the East coast of the DR, I highly recommend stopping for a great price-quality meal & local experience at the Kukka Beach!
