Fine dining near to the great famous Pulteney Bridge. Enjoy the scenic winter in front of our large wood fire creating a warm atmosphere perfect with a glass of wine. Fresh food sourced locally.
Food was quite good here but the atmosphere was definitely lacking and it didn't help being placed in the corner with a pillar/partition excluding us from the main room! What was really annoying was that we were charged £25 for a bottle of wine which was available for £6 less in the restaurant across the road. The service was good on the whole. However, it was noticeably chilly when we first walked in but thawed after we had ordered starters, mains & wine. Nothing wrong with the food but the overall experience left a sour taste in the mouth. We are please to now that you enjoyed your food and found the service to be good. Unfortunately we do get very busy and whilst some people live to be placed in our cosy corner (its often requested at time of booking) we appreciate that other customers prefer to be in the thick of the bustle too! I'm afraid we do can only work with the space we have and whilst we would love to place everyone in their preferred location every time, on this occasion it sounds as though we didn't manage to please you. Regarding the wine, in order to offer our customers great value at Antica, we do make a point of competing on price and as such we use a mark up on our wines that is lower than the industry standard. For this reason we are very surprised to hear that a restaurant across the road was selling the very same bottle for this much less. Without knowing which wine it was it ain't possible to check on this. Many thanks for your review.

Housed in a spectacular former church house, the Aqua Restaurant and Bar is considered one of Bathâs finest Arts and Crafts buildings. The main dining area, gallery and alfresco courtyard provide a theatrical backdrop for the modern European cuisine. Aqua
Joanna and a lovely gentleman worked tirelessly to make sure we enjoyed our evening! We are never disappointed. The starters, mains and sticky toffee were simply delicious. Our glasses were never left empty, the smiles, professionalism and kindness of staff were limitless. This still remains my favorite restaurant after many years! The standards never drop. Thank you Aqua, we will be back very soon â¥ï¸

Ponte Vecchio restaurant is set in Bath's most scenic location, with a view over the world-famous Pulteney Bridge & Weir and the river Avon. We serve the best of Italian cuisine in our elegant dining area. Our varied menu features authentic freshly-made p
Food ok but nothing exceptional. Service was lacking and there were times the service staff obviously didnât communicate with each other as things either never came to the table (drinks requested) or came out wrong. Pizza base was stodgy and chewy rather than crisp. Some of the starters were lovely, including the specials, mains were lacking though.

Visited following a recommendation from our hotel. What an absolute fine. Really cute little restaurant with a simple but fantastic menu. The staff were all very friendly. Surprised at the value of the meal based on the quality and service. So very worth a visit.

Rosarios is a cozy and quirky sicily-themed cafe locating on one of Bath's oldest streets. Rosarios offers its own uniquely blended Italian coffee and a large selection of gluten-free cakes and dishes. Rosarios is a great place for breakfast, brunch or lu
Great Italian food, low prices, independently owned.Waiting staff must be very fit as kitchen on 3rd floor.Toilets on 2nd floor so not suitable for those with very young children ( also not much space for them) or mobility issues. A few tables on the ground floor.Buzzing when we visited. Thanks very much, love this review. x

Small, busy, much admired, family-run restaurant; serving seasonal, locally sourced, freshly cooked food; charming and welcoming staff; sensible and honest prices. Set in a fine Georgian house in Bath's most beautiful position - between The Circus and The
Amazing food and great service. I am not vegetarian, but thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom tagliatelle. My husband had the pork which was also excellent. We finished with the espresso martini which was the icing on the cake. Very happy to recommend. We're so glad you enjoyed your anniversary dinner with us. Booking is strongly recommended. Situated just a few steps away from the Roman Baths, our attractive and atmospheric restaurant is located in a charming candle lit historical cellar of natural Bath stone with vaulted ceilings throughout, and resembles the
We were not disappointed with our first visit here. There are always high expectations when a restaurant has such great reviews so itâs a joy when those reviews are clearly well deserved. We were met by lovely welcoming staff whoâs friendly and warm approach continued throughout the birthday lunch for our Son. He lives in Bath and was desperate to go having heard such good things about it.Itâs a great atmosphere in the stone walled cellar of one of Baths typical Georgian houses. It was quite hot in there despite it being rather cold and wet outside. We started with some King Prawn bruschetta which was simply divine and one had the mushroom which again was superb. My main course I really didnât want to come to an end. Penne with mushrooms, walnuts and Gorgonzola.....I can not tell you how amazing this dish was. The rest of our party each had something different and not one of us could do anything other than lavish praise for the food. We had some fabulous ice cream for dessert and the restaurant did a discrete Happy Birthday on a plate with a small candle in our Sons portion (he hates a fuss) so this was the perfect touch,The staff were attentive without crowding you, a perfect balance of impeccable customer service. We had an absolutely superb time there, wonderful food, thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back again.
