I went with 2 friends and had an excelleng lunch. We were over half an hour late as we had been wine tasting next door but they were very understanding when we pitched up. We also brought along 3 bottles of wine from next door which they didn't mind. The setting was lovely and the view out of the window very pretty. The service was also very good. I was very envious of my friend's main course which was the lamb on a hot plate.

I really enjoyed this place! The tomatoes with pesto was great! The bread was great! I had the ravioli Del plins ! Delicious! And pineapple and strawberry sorbet, followed by coffee. We are outside, which was very pleasant. The servers were excellent!

Absolutely loved this place! Simple wooden decor with pictures on the walls related to truffle and truffle hunting. Casual service. Both waitresses spoke some English. Also overheard one of them speaking French to a couple nearby. We tried local wine (Barolo, Barbaresco and Barolo Chinato) and had a delicious meal. Vitello Tonnato (roasted veal with tuna sauce), Fassona Tartare with black truffle (an exquisite raw veal from Langhe) and Risotto al Barolo (Acquerello rice with Barolo wine) were all exquisite and very typical for the region. The tartare was the best I have ever tried in Italy since I moved here. Perfection!!! Highly recommend this restaurant for a traditional Piedmontese meal and wine. Also, itâs right in the heart of the center of the tiny town of Barolo. Take a stroll around the castle and finish your visit with this lovely restaurant/winebar.

This restaurant is managed by a lady whose son if the chef and to whom we got to speak briefly so it is your typical Italian small business venture, in a traditional home of Barolo serving local products.I will be honest, getting a table was very long and difficult but once you are seated the food, and the service, are just excellent.I had a Barolo risotto, which is probably one of the best risottos I had in my life (and I had many).Highly recommended but go during the week and book if you can.

We arrived early for our visit to several wineries in Barolo township, so we stopped at DiVIn Cafe for a coffee and breakfast. It offers outdoor and indoor tables, but the outdoor is so much nicer, especially in the morning when it is not directly in the sunlight. The shade offered by a number of trees, and the proximity of the street offer a tranquil ambiance for people watching. Coffee is excellent, and the cafe offers a selection of bakery goods or various egg-based dishes for those with a greater appetite.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Barolo. We visited twice during this yearâs visit. The dinning room is nice for dinner, and the terrace in the rear is great for lunch in nice weather. The owner works the room and makes everyone feel welcome. Our favorite menu items include the vitello tonnato. One of us orders it nearly every time. Another favorite starter is the carne cruda â beaten beef. For the Primi, we like the Ravioli Plin with the meat raguâ, the Tagliolini with the mushroom sauce, and the gnocchi. In season, any pasta with the truffle butter sauce is wonderful, but very rich. Our favorite entrees include the wild boar with polenta and the Rabbit Stew.Coffee and house made cookies are all the dessert we usually need. The breads, except for the bread sticks, are also baked inhouse.Their wine list is one of the best in the area with a wide assortment of wines across a wide range of prices. They even have some older vintages. The meal always starts with an interesting Amuse bouche.

Meal started out great, but as the restaurant got busier, the attention to detail dropped off into an abyss. One agnolotti dish had parmesan grated on top... when another of us ordered it for a main, no cheese was offered. End of meal took 25 minutes between receiving check and them collecting it to process credit card. Unacceptable. Overall, not memorable food or service, though others may have had better luck.
