Pausa pranzo rilassante sulle rive del piccolo lago, panorama gradevolissimo anche se imperversava il temporale.Buona cucina, personale disponibile e gentile.

Fairly old Rifugio located against one of the more beautiful Dolomite peaks. We hiked from around San Cassiano and it was a welcome sight for our lunch. We sat outside to soak in the sun and the awesome views. The food itself was mediocre and my Kaiserschmarren was not up to standard. The server forgot my beer order and I had to remind her after other tables were getting their beer/wine orders and we were not. She later apologized.

We had coffee on the terrace overlooking the lake. This is really a pond, and we enjoyed walking to it from our hotel, the Gran Ander. The small lake and restaurant are a very pleasant place to go to regardless of where you are staying, and we recommend that you drop by for a lunch or coffee.

It took a few minutes to get a table. This place is popular! It turned out to be well worth waiting for. The food was excellent, very refined and affordable. Services was good and so was the atmosphere. Bioch is also nice for a drink outside on a sunny day, but the lunch we had indoors was incredible. We will be back!

"The best things are the simplest things. But at the same time the hardest things to do." Says Norbert Niederkofler and describes his cooking philosophy as simple, clear and clean. The Restaurant St. Hubertus, whose name stands for the patron of the hunte
Dining here is an event and we would not have missed it. St. Hubertus is probably the most approachable 3-Michelin star restaurant we've tried; every staff member was welcoming and friendly and every question we had about the menu was patiently answered. It's a cozy dining room located on the first floor of the Rosa Alpina hotel, not at all grand, that made us feel like comfortable guests in the chef's home, and service was of course flawless. The chef's waste-nothing attitude toward cooking is interesting (though I admit I would rather not have known some of the details provided about the specific animal parts we were eating). Every course was superb. My only observation is that for us, there was simply too much food. We purposely chose the shorter of the two tasting menus and were still so overfull that we had to ask our servers not to bring the dessert courses. If only we could find more Michelin multi-star restaurants with à la carte rather than obligatory tasting menus, we would be happy. Still, St. Hubertus is wonderful and well deserving of its accolades.

We had an excellent 5-course set dinner in the intimate setting of this small family restaurant where the same meal is prepared every evening for 5 months of the year. V. good local red wine. Friendly family chef/owners. Ask to see the 'museum' collection from the old farming days.

We have been at Lee last week with friends from the UK.We are Italian and can tell you that rarely these days we come across restaurants that are so dedicated to genuine, honest and yet incredibly appetizing food. The Rifugio has been passed on from generations to generations: it is a simple place as it used to be in the mountains and you feel a family atmosphere as soon as you walk on the terrace that boosts amazing views. Even better: beyond superb ingredients the chef is also tops and you are looked after informally and yet with genuine care by a very friendly staff. In essence this is a genuine family business that displays passion for what they do and a commitment to provide guest with a memorable genuine experience.Highly recommended both in winter (ski in - ski out) and summer (easy walk or cable car). Enjoy!
