Terrible pizza. Service personnel far more interested in talking among themselves than attending to guests. Just avoid this place. By the way it was almost empty when we were there

We came there by bikes from Basel (40km away) and were very hungry, the food was however totally what we needed. We loved the salads and the bruschetta. The portions were filling and we were re-energized for the round trip.Dear Ester L,thanks for your feedback. We really appreciate your warm words and we are glad, that you liked it. We hope to welcome you soon again in one of our 4 restaurants.Kind regardsYour PastaKönig team

We arrived in Bad Säckingen looking for a place for lunch and were brought here by an enthusiastic local that we approached randomly on the street. There were two problems with our order (one of the pizzas we ordered normally came with an egg, we asked for it "ohne Ei" - es lag nicht an der Sprache - but it came with the egg. Also, besides wine, soft-drink and mineral water I asked clearly for a glass of tap water but they brought a small bottle of opened mineral water trucked in from Italy. We arrived just before their lunch closing so perhaps they focussed on their break (although it was also hard to get the bill). The food, however, was excellent. Two HUGE and delicious pizzas and a lovely seafood pasta very well prepared.

My friend and I visited here on a busy Sunday afternoon. The service was good, the Italian staff were presumably communicating with us in their third language, but we all managed to understand each other. The menu is only available in German or Italian, but since we both ate a lot of Italian at home, deciding what we wanted to eat wasn't a problem. My friend had a Parmesan salad - loads of delicious Parmesan cheese, tomatoes, rocket and balsamic dressing. We both loved it. I had the antipasto della case and it was also wonderful. A selection of local meats and cheese, with rocket and balsamic dressing. The free bread that accompanied the meal was great for making little sandwiches out of my antipasto, and for mopping up the delicious dressing. The other customers mainly seemed to be ordering pizza, it was a warm day, so pasta wasn't a popular choice. The pizzas all looked amazing! There's outdoor seating available, and the downstairs seating has a side view into the kitchen so you can see the food being prepared. There's also a large upstairs dining room.

Eden is set in a former book store, right at the entrance to old town of Bad Säckingen. There is indoor seating on the ground and first floor and weather permitting a large outdoor seating area. The food/drinks menu has a lot of options. The service is efficient and friendly.

I ate a few times and I have tried many dishes including pizza.top-quality restaurant, with dishes prepared by the first and second courses, excellent pizza, but with fish prepared by a great chef to order. The real surprise is the welcome of the owner, the family and the waiters. A place which I highly recommend with value.thank youVitto

La Pecora Nera - "the black sheep" is as unique as the name itself. While trattorias in Italy are usually limited to a few dishes, you can expect a fine, light and varied Italian cuisine in "La Pecora Nera". Daily changing menus as well as a tasty selecti
