Visited here last week to celebrate my birthday with 8 others. We chose from a mixture of menus, including the children's menu. We couldn't fault any of the food, or the way we were looked after, however we felt that we had a very long wait before our food arrived. A couple of our group were also quite cold. I enjoyed mussels, spaghetti con gamberoni and creme bruise ( with a candle in and happy birthday sung)

Ninos Rawtenstall, founded in 1986, is a Family-run, Authentic, Italian Restaurant. We pride ourselves on Great Service, Fantastic Italian Cuisine and a Gorgeous Venue that will keep you returning time after time...
This restaurant has really picked its feet up since it was taken over. It is now back to its old self as it was in its heyday. The menu has a great selection, the decor is good, the food is great and the service is friendly and quick. There is a car park to the rear but has limited spaces, but thereâs parking on the road.

Welcome! Benvenuti! Unlike many others 'mondello' does not have only the 'italian name' but it is indeed a truly authentic italian family business, run with passion and dedication. Situated in the heart of crawshawbooth, only 10 minutes away from burnley,
Went for a Saturday night meal with family, this is a small Italian restaurant in the centre of Crawshawbooth. Sat in the side room, drinks served quick with starters soon after. From prawn cocktail to muscles and ribs, everything was lovely. Then pizzas and various pasta dishes, all really nice and an average of £7 starter to £10/12 mains. It can get a little warm when eating and if the restaurant is full, nice curtious staff, would go back.

Canalside cafe and licensed restaurant with a warm welcome and fresh food made with local produce. The kitchen is open in the daytime until 3pm Sunday - Thursday and until 4pm Friday and Saturday. We serve cooked breakfast in the morning until 11.30am fro
We called in today. For lunch. We were able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the weather. We ordered 2 coffees and a shared platter. Coffee was strong and tasty. The server came out with 2 plates for our sharing platter. However, the plates were chipped in several places and bit off putting. We decided to let it be as didnât want to make too much fuss. When the platter came we were overwhelmed by the array of colour and tasty food. Then, as we worked through the delicious food we noticed the platter plate itself was chipped. . What a disappointment. As we left I took a slow walk past the crockery area and noted most of the plates were chipped. Surely this is a health and hygiene issue? Possibly using cheap crockery?Having said this, I have been to the Kava several times with no chipped plates. Give this place a go. Worth it. But ask for un-chipped plates which we will do in future. Thank you for your helpful feedback. It is true we have a challenge with plates with chipped edges although we do throw away plates that are chipped or cracked where the food actually sits. Every dish is washed at 90 degrees. It is difficult to find plates that are interesting to look at, that don't chip and which are also affordable. We are switching to more durable plates as and when affordable stock becomes available. In the meantime, we can assure you that the plates we use are not cheap and also that they are bought from a local business.

One of Italyâs most visited markets is Sicilyâs A'Vucciria, which translates to 'hubbubâ. This word to us describes a humble place where you can enjoy simple tasty plates of food washed down with good wine and beer or even a cocktail. A'Vucciria will brin
We went to AâVucciria for my birthday âtreatâ Saturday 27th July and the place was buzzing. Got a table right away upstairs and after a drink we ordered 6 tapas between the two of us. Couldnât fault any of the food, it was excellent, my favourite was the Tuscan sausage with sweet peppers. All washed down with an excellent bottle of Pinot Grigio Rose. Staff were lovely. We will definitely be backWell done everyoneThank you for your fantastic 5 star review! It really does mean a lot to our team at A'Vucciria! We hope to see you again very soon!

Authentic and fresh, rustic, thin and crispy pizza, sweet tomato base, high quality toppings, Warm atmosphere, the best pizza place in the north for sure... and they have vegan cheese for the herbivores! Professionally managed, but a casual atmosphere. Thoughtful, comfortable and co-ordinated interior. Staff are friendly, courteous, welcoming and well trained. I need to eat here more often!

Siena Italian bar restaurant,is serving Italian traditional food Setuated in the main road in the heart of Haslingden
We hadnât heard about Siena before, nobody suggested it and we didnât look at any reviews for it. Just googled restaurants in Haslingden and this place came up.We parked fairly close to the restaurant and on entering were shown straight to a table which was good because thereâs not really a waiting area. The place was very smart looking, tidy, clean and fresh. Unfortunately we were sat close to the door which gave a good fraught each time it opened, I suppose somebody had to sit close to it.The calamari starter was excellent, nice and soft and plenty of it, with a refreshing little salad. The mains were both very good. The staff were very keen and effective. All in all a good find and Iâm sure weâll be back for more if the same.

Another great trip to Mario's. Never fails to make us waddle home feeling full and happy. The Aubergine starter was beautiful, and my daughter was over-the-counter that they did a child sized Deep Fried Mozzarella for her.Plus...the cocktails are amazing and surprisingly inexpensive. Can't wait to go again!
