Sure picking up La Scala is a good choice, because the place is well taken care of by its manger and owner. On and on and on. Whatever you pick it is good: special of the day, Italian pasta, pizza, or else (even grilled meat). Cleanliness of everything, from napkin to washrooms, enormous choice of dishes (very extended), large beverage selection, excellent price/quality ratio: everything makes that customer's experience will be positive. In the night, in Winter when it rains, this very good restaurant will compel set for the delusion of (typical Swiss) ordinary (bad) weather. You'll leave happy, after the traditional handshake of the friendly manager or his chef.

On a cold and rainy Sunday night we found this cozy trattoria very inviting. The insalata mista was dressed to perfection and the pizza just perfect. If you love wood fired thin crust pizza served hot with perfectly balanced toppings you will love this Taverna. On a nice day dining on the deck would be quiet and as if you were part of a picture postcard - so very marvelously Murten!

Restaurant had no problem with accepting a reservation for ten diners at lunch, plus one dog. They met us at the door, welcomed the group warmly, accomodate us easily, and provided excellent, friendly, solicitious service. The food was remarkably good, in generous portions (even the allged "Half" portions). Many of those present expressed an interest in returning privately for dinner - the posted set menus looked interesting, though not cheap. A good winelist to explore too; we will certainly return. Not the most glamorous location in lovely, romantic Murten, but conveniently located (across the street from the trainstation) and very pretty inside.

There were not many restaurants open late in the evening of a weekday. But the pizzeria was opened and almost full. The decoration and general atmosphere is pretty simple, without pretention. But the wall of italian movie stars is nice. The list of pizza offered is great, with half being the classics, and the other half being 10-15 original combinations. The pizza was excellent and quite big (especially with a lot of rucola on top in the one I choose). I was quite full! The service was friendly and good. Definitely a place I would return on my next visit to Payerne.Thank you see you soon ;o)

We had dinner at this restaurant on the advice of the hotel. We do not regret listening to the recommendation. I had a very nice tournedos with an excellent sauce, very well prepared with handmade pommes and grilled vegetables. My son had steak tartare which was very tasty. Sitting outside on the terrace at this beautiful old street in Murten was a joy. The services was excellent. Mr. Prozillo and his wife manage to offer a very consistent quality of delicious Italian food.The meat, seafood and pasta are always unique, fresh and authentic. We visited this place for many years as regular customers until we lately moved abroad. We were often offered a special like the Bistecca Fiorentina or Tagliatelle with white truffles that wasn't on the menu. Pricewise this place offers excellent value and in summer one can enjoy the beautiful setting in the arcades. Murten's best kept secret when it comes to Italian food!

non mais non c'est pas possible nous étions pleins de table de pote dans le resto une équipe en arrivant à 12h05 a bien préciser qu'à 12h55 ils devaient partir la serveuse a pris leur commande a 12h10... a 12h50 toujours rien, ils sont parti sans avoir pu manger... mais la table de dehors arrivé après a bien été servit avant !!nous notre table ça a été... sachant le soucis de nos amis nous avons tous pris salade.... menu du jour a 23 frs c'est plus que exagérer !!

Visted in Feb 2012 during Bern's cold spell. The restaurant is small and intimate. The staff is friendly. They corked two of our wines but new bottles were provided without any fuss. The set menu conatined lamb which we don't eat and when we asked about alternatives a beef option was provided. Overall the food was delicious and with the intimate setting it was a wonderful evening. The higher end prices were justified. Definitely recommended.

This is by far one of the best wood fired pizza places in the region. Fresh tasty ingredients, a chef that cares about his offering combined with staff that take care in ensuring guests are catered for correctly and their dining experience is a pleasant make for a pizza experience that begs to be repeated. We visit at least once a month! 1 word - Tasty!

This pizzeria seems new and serves only pizza's, I belief there was 1 pasta dish and for the rest nothing. The pizzas were nothing special. The restaurant lacks any atmosphere. Waitress was friendly, decent coffee.
