This was an internet find - we were driving up to rome, we were hungry, we needed somewhere near the A1. In the event, we felt very fortunate to find this place, we arrived quite late, but were welcomed, fed and watered, and sent on our way. It does feel rather like a wedding venue, which i think is its 'stock in trade', but the maitre d'hotel impressed us with his knowledge of the local fare, and his interest in us, and our - food related - business trip. It's not cheap, and the food was...OK. Not spectacular.

The beauty of a style that crosses time ... Nestled on the ramparts of the twelfth century, the Hotel-Restaurant L'Orione, takes its name from the medieval gate facing the eponymous astral constellation. It was founded in 1975 by the genius of the master
While trying to explore the wonderful town of Monte San Giovanni Campano, we became lost on the back streets, and the constant climb took its toll on our small group of elderly and mobility-impaired group. We stumbled upon this restaurant, and they were so kind in offering us beverage to ease our thirst, and an absolutely delicious 'pranzo'. I am unsure that they were even open when we arrived, so we were doubly grateful they took pity on the American 'touristi'. The food they offered was plentiful and delicious, and just what we needed to get us back down. Their gardens are beautifully maintained and the panoramic views were breath-taking. The interior decor appeared suitable for weddings or parties, and the terraces would only compliment the setting for such an occasion. I am so glad we were unwittingly led to this jewel in the town of MSG Campano. I would love to return and hope that some day I will have the opportunity to do so.
Trovarlo è difficile in quanto risulta essere a Frosinone ma in realtà si trova a Roccadarce distante 25 km.Abbiamo preso un antipasto composto da mozzarella di bufala e prosciutto crudo, buono.Pizza ben cotta e condita ottimamente.Se ne possono scegliere tantissime.Tagliata di carne argentina molto gustosa.Personale molto simpatico.Prezzi onestissimi.Consigliato

A lovely, family run restaurant in the small town of Arce in Campagnia. It was buffet night on Saturday and the place was very busy from 8 onwards. Lots of locals eat here which is a good sign. Very friendly, helpful waiters who explained the menu to us. We had a lovely meal for two including wine for 45 Euro which was excellent value for money. I had the bruschetta and then the grilled meat , finishing off with homemade tiramisu. My wife had the buffet which she loves as she can eat as much or as little as she wanted. No hassle, none of this nonsense about wanting the table back, just a lovely restful meal surrounded by Italians enjoying themselves. Thank you

So if you're in the area this is a great place! I've been a few times and always look forward to going back.Food: tasty, genuine, simple but not banal.Starters are endless with great variety, I've tried a few pasta dishes and they're all fab...latest one was a risotto dish with salmon, radicchio and caviar. Amazingly the tastes were all very delicate but easy to distinguish...the meat dishes are also very good! by the time the desert menu comes round I'm usually too full to try anything as portions are quite generous...Location: Rocca d'Arce, just above Arce. Fantastic view from the terrace which - weather permitting - is laid out with seating - a great meal with a breath-taking view!Service: they speak English!!! really warm and professional....love it!Price: excellent for the quality, lower than city average but - of course - higher than the standard restaurant in that area; but well worth it (again & again). Will be going back soon....highly recommended.

We we're staying in Acre only for a night as a stopover on a drive and our very kind B&B hosts brought us here. Wow, are we glad they did,! This restaurant is worth making a detour for and seeking out. It's tucked away outside the village but it's worth finding. The pasta was fantastic and the gnocchi were the lightest, tastiest I've ever had - I didn't know it could be like that. Parmigiana di melanzane (aubergine) was like nothing I've had before but the crowning glory for me was costollete d'agnello impanate e fritte (breaded, fried lamb cutlets)We over ordered and had several other dishes between the three of us. All of it was fantastic. We all agreed we had eaten too much but there wasn't a single dish we wouldn't have again. Oh and the price? Unbelievably reasonable!Try the local wines too

If you ever find yourself in my town Arce, in the province of Frosinone (I wouldn't know why) you MUST dine at this authentic Ciociara Trattoria. Authentic home cooked meals with top quality ingredients at a very modest price. This restaurant should be the picture next to the definition of trattoria!

We stumbled across this local restaurant in Broccostella by chance and was warmly welcomed by the owner Gianni. Despite my basic grasp of Italian he outlined the menu for us and explained which dishes were currently in season. My friend and I opted for some local fresh anti pasta and then decided to try the Irish and the Italian steaks. The steaks were presented on a sizzling hot plate which included roast potatoes and vegetables with a side of fresh homemade bread. The steaks tasted amazing and were both succulent and tender. The home made tiramisu is also a must. We have since revisited on our way back to Rome and have promised to come back on our next visit to Italy. la ringraziamo molto per la bella recensione. Noi e lo staff siamo davvero felici del fatto che lei abbia apprezzato i nostri prodotti . A noi tutti piace il lavoro che facciamo ed il nostro primario obiettivo è la soddisfazione dei nostri clienti.Cordiali saluti Gianni Lupo e Maria
