I imagine that this place is crowded on most summer nights, but it didn't slow down the service. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Food was a little overcooked, especially the sauerbraten.

My friends and I usually go on a Tuesday or Wednesday night when the restaurant offers a 4 course meal for $20. I suggest getting a reservation, as it is usually crowded. The service has always been good. I have also ordered off their main menu many times and was always happy with my dinners. Their food is great and the homemade cavatelli is worth the visit.

Call it classic Italian with a modern twist, or Modern cuisine with Italian influences. Either way, we serve only fresh, top quality food, prepared from scratch. Our menu changes with the seasons, allowing us to make the most of any local and garden fresh
Last night of vacation and this restaurant had nice reviews. We were not disappointed. Pleasant looking on the outside, nice ambiance inside with a welcoming staff. My wife loved the beet salad and I liked the Mezzanote special salad although the dressing need d to be tossed more for better distribution. My wifeâs risotto was quite good but a bit salty for her taste. The veal loin special was outstanding. Very tasty sauce and lovely beans, spinach and carefully prepared potatoes. I noted that the manager was checking every dish as it came out of the kitchen and to me that is the mark of a fine restaurant. We had a nice chat with the manager, Connie afterwards as we were the last diners. A pleasant and knowledgable restaurateur and we will certainly be back the next time in Albany.

Its nice but don't what the hype is about, theres another close by Italian place that's a lot better. The portions were ok, no leftovers. Waiter was great but bus person annoyed us trying to clean up and we weren't done yet. Not in a rush to go back if ever.

Seven us meet there for Chicken Parm night and we all enjoyed our meals. It was very busy and I had trouble finding a parking space but it was worth it. Almost all of us had the chicken parm but two of the people had the haddock parm. The dinner came with soup or salad, pasta and bread. the portions were hug and the dinner is only $8.95 on Wednesday nights. There is a little bit of a wait but it was busy. Our server was really good and kept coming back to see how we were doing. She did not rush us at all because we were in no hurray to leave,

We traveled to Schenectady for a show at The Proctor, and found Ferrari's Ristorante through Tripadvisor. In a nutshell, we intend to return every chance we get! The food was delicious, and the service was the perfect balance of attention and allowing us to enjoy our meal. Our server was Jackie, and she was great! Our gauge of a good Italian restaurant is the calamari, and the appetizer we ordered exceeded all expectations. We ordered the special that evening, which was a blend of lightly breaded calamari with spicy peppers and onions, with a marinara sauce. The "small" size could have fed both of us comfortably for the whole meal! We didn't know that in advance, so we also ordered the Del Monaco Maffioso, and the Veal Rossano. The steak was cooked perfectly to order, and the veal dish makes my mouth water now as I recall the meal. The ambiance reminds me of the old-fashioned restaurants I enjoyed many years ago - images of Italy and relatives adorn the walls. If we lived closer, this would be one of our regular haunts. I can't wait to return!
Neighborhood pizza restaurant offering take out, dine in and delivery. Everything is made fresh in-house.
After a lot of anticipation, Altamont FINALLY has a new and much needed pizzeria to give us an alternative to the Other Place. The pizza is fairly priced, tasty, and popular as evidenced by the crowds waiting for pick up and the phone ringing constantly. Lots of choices for pizza and choices besides pizza including salad. They even deliver! The pizza is not greasy, and they get the orders correct. Teenage daughter loved the wings. Despite their need to work out a few small bugs because they are still new, we predict they will be a success.

Monday night is pasta night and you get a salad and meatballs or sausage to compliment your meal. It's also Happy Hour from 3-6 so get a glass of wine for just $3.50 or a beer for $3. The food was great and so was the service. We'll be back!

Restaurant was packed.... Canali's has been around for a long time and gets good reviews. I think that the food was mediocre. Service was fine. Perhaps people rave about quantity. The portions are very large. The red sauce was not to my liking.
