Nutella Crepe Restaurant. Incredible atention and fast service. All the Crepes come with all kinds of fruits, caramel, chocolate and Nutella. Our especiality is the Nutella Crepe. 2 minutes to 3 1/2 minute cooking time. All kind of beberages.
The ladies who prepared my food were we welcoming and inviting! I ordered the pizza crepe and it was mostly more like a ham and cheese crepe. The only pizza sauce was added on top of the crepe. BUT, I did order a sweet crepe of Nutella, strawberries and bananas and it was very good! :)
We came here on the recommendation of another guest at our hotel. He was raving about the pizza here and he was right. The crust was so delicious. We had the special white pizza, and the combination of cheese and herbs was done perfectly. I would eat here again. Highly recommend.

Lo Spago was a good authentic Italian Restaurant and since that is my favourite it was no surprise I would be a little more critical of the food, the wine and the desserts. We were greeted by friendly staff, sat immediately and able to order some good Chianti. The pasta choice were plentiful and the wait staff were more than willing to explain whatever you needed them to. We got our meals and were feeling pretty good about our choices when I saw something that made me so jealous. The people at the next table had order pasta in a cheese cream sauce. No big deal right? Wrong, the staff had brought over a side table upon which sat a full round of Parmigiano cheese, and in one hand he held a torch. He was mixing something up (I assume some cream), and scraping cheese off as he melted it from the middle of what can only be called a giant cheese bowl. Yes, I said it, he was mixing the sauce up right in the Parmigiano cheese itself. Then he tosses in the pasta and mixes it around as well. He swirls and mixes and then finally pulls it out and plates it. My mouth is watering just thinking of it, still do not know what it was called but I want to try it. Okay, so for dessert, they did not have my favourite Bachio Negro, but they did have Tartufo which was almost as good and excellent as far as desserts go. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the Italian food, the atmosphere and the desserts.
El Hop is the best combination between grill food and variety of beers. We are introducing a new concept in Alajuela.
Happened upon this new restaurant and was thrilled that I decided to stop. Delicious tacos and shrimp risotto. The cheese flan was amazing.

Pizza Nostra is the dream of a place in which to enjoy tradicional Italian food. Our Napolitan chef will surprise you with his wonderful traditional recepies, created with natural ingredients imported directly from Italy and prepared with great care in an
We tried Penne Carbonara, Bolognese Spaghetti, Shrimp pizza, and Salami Pizza. The pasta was al dente, and the sauce was just great, not too salty, nor greasy. On the other hand, the serving size is for those who eat average amount, but for me I could have eaten a little bit more. The pizza dough was the best I have ever tasted in Costa Rica. The pizza tomato sauce was a little bit salty. I guess it could be a little less salty. Since they cook every dish on the spot, they take quite a long time, more than average. But I guess this guarantees you more freshly cooked meals. The garlic bread is also delicious. And the atmosphere is very pleasant, in an open area that is not that noisy. Finally, the price is like average but it is not on the cheap side.

Great place for pizza (thinner crust) and homemade pastas. Local beers and a decent wine list available. We had a pizza to share to start and then individual pasta dishes. We had a Spanish speaker in our party which helped, otherwise we would have just muddled through ordering (menus have English). Food was excellent and we had a great time. Place did get a bit loud and the folks in the Mexican restaurant next store were entertained by a loud mariachi band but the good food and company made it all tolerable. I hope to be back on my next trip to San Jose.

We are and Italian-European coffee/bar. You can have light meal with ingredients of the highest quality. we specialize in a wide selection of panini (sandwhiches), Antipasti, Soups, Salads, Desserts (made ââentirely in-house),and we also serve breakfast.
I ate here for lunch. We ordered drinks, sandwiches, and dessert. The meal was tasty, but it was more expensive than it should have been. The sandwiches are not very filling and they come with nothing but the sandwich. For three of us, we spent nearly $75. That's way more than a lunch like this should cost.
