Things to do in Aglientu
Considering the generally unfriendly waiters we experienced in Sardinia, Paradise Beach Bar was a refreshing change. The waiters were friendly and called someone to help when they didnât understand the English. Itâs a lovely little beach and worth a visit.

Very simple but great Pizzeria! You can order a fantastic pizza, where you say wich toppings you want, or just let the owner choose. There are 3 tables to sit and eat your pizza out of the take-away box. The pizza's are delicious! The wood fired oven and the chef's skills combine in delicious pizza's! Definately worth the short trip to Aglientu if you are staying at Vignola Mare! No romantic dining, but the best pizza in the area!

Tipical low style restaurant, managed directly by owner. True good abundant tipical sardinian menu. Nothing to envy to more qualified and famous restaurants in the area. Very good hand made starters, zuppa gallurese, ravioli, seadas, good porceddu without roster potatoes. Lovely conversation with owner. 30⬠per person is an excellent price x value. We will go again.

We spent the morning at Rena Maiore and were looking for somewhere for lunch. This was the perfect spot. Our children had ravioli with ricotta and spinach, my husband had spaghetti with clams and I had grilled squid and a mixed salad. All was delicious and for just under â¬50. Very child friendly too. Definitely recommend if you're looking for somewhere near the beach (it's in Rena Maiore village, just a bit further up the road from the beach).

When we are on holiday we like to eat the typical food from the region. Thatâs what youâll find here. 2 options... one for 25⬠with pasta and meat and one for 35⬠with antipasti, pasta and meat. Wine, coffee, dessert and a digestive are included in the 2nd option. The food was very good (I especially loved the antipasti and pastas) and the service was very good!! The waitress was very friendly and sweet. The location is also very nice. We ate on the terrace.

We lunched in the restaurant on our way south. A vey nice place at the beach. And for long: people who understand what making contact is. The food was good, but as we had lunch, difficult to judge what the cooks are really capable off. We enjoyed it a lot! Thank you Ernst. We really appreciate your words.Hope to see you again.GreatsDario

If you want a great authentic place to stay it Sardinia - this is it !We had an excellent dinner (with wine), and bed and breakfast for 2 for under 90 euros.Excellent room overlooking the hills with a view of Corsica and food is genuine authentic rural Italian. Would definitely go back and the 2 ladies who run it are charming.

Talk about back to basics, this place is set in an old well kept space, simple and as practical as they come.No menu and no ordering, you have a fixed 7 course meal, every dish is local, fresh and made to perfection. Not all were my cup of tea, but they were all so good I enjoyed it.The service is friendly and not over the top.We got wine, water and coffee, and the entire thing was ONLY 28 euro per person, all in!!We're going back again tonight, and would say its a must if you're inthe region!
