Went for a light pizza dinner on a Monday evening. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the people who were working (servers and manager) were really friendly and welcoming. Had nice wood-fired pizza for a good price. Not very fancy, but perfect for a simple dinner.Glad to see you enjoyed the meal and staff. It was nice having you at the restaurant. Pizzeria " Le Maestro" is opened since 2012 but has just changed in a new place . The restaurant offers home made pasta and pizza and also chickens meals and burgers. The quality standard of the food is great and the owner, Mr. Alexandre is delivering an
Not Far from nuit de saigon in Cocody this restaurant offers a great variety of pizzas and most of them really good like the one with goat cheese and honey! The ambiance is appropriated to go at noon for a business meeting or at night to enjoy with your friends. Personally my husband and I enjoy Thursdays nights for a good pizza and some beer in the nice outdoors terrace. Cheers to the owner who was really nice and since we are new in the city he took time to share some good plans!!! Alison.

This was third visit to Abidjan on business and my second visit to this special, discreet and authentic Italian restaurant. Our group of 9 works colleagues met up here after work, parked directly outside the restaurant and made our way down the covered alleyway to the guarded entrance. Inside you are kind of transported into a little part of Italy. We were early guests and were immediately seated at our table. Of course I just had to have an Aperol Spritze to start the evening. I followed this with an excellent octopus salad as a starter and went for crab risotto for the main course. Excellent! I wasn't planning to have a dessert but ended up succumbing to the fruit pavlova and sharing my host's excellent profiteroles.I'm not sure what white wine we drank with our meal but it was chosen with the help of the owner (?) who gave intimate, expert advice on all requests for help in choosing the food and wine. This is quite an exclusive establishment and many diners who turned up later seemed to be already well known by the owner. There were a lot of service staff given the size of this boutique type restaurant and the service was all carried out very seriously and correct. For that special Italian evening I'm pretty sure that you can't get much better in this town.

As a Mediterranean establishment, we offer you an authentic and inventive cuisine with our fresh products of the moment.
Warm welcome, pleasant atmosphere (inside and outside), excellent food and good (if rather wooden) service. Been here twice recently and each time everyone in our party enjoyed a great evening out. In a city with plenty of Italian restaurants, this is one of the best.Thank you for your great message...

Had recently been to Montparnasse for a lunch. Well organised, great food and service!Am a vegetarian and found decent options on starters and main course. Service helped as got good advice on food to order. Particularly helpful for me as can sometimes be tough for me in French Africa with no language capability in French! The pasta I ordered as particularly nice. The setting was quite relaxed and soothing. Looks like a place to return to next time!

I just felt like having a dish of pasta while working in Abidjan...this whim turned into a major discovery. The food was absolutely delightful and authentically Italian....fresh ingredients used to make homemade sauces and appetizers. I only regret I found La Taverne Romaine on the last evening of my trip...I would have visited this wonderful restaurant a few more times if I had found it earlier.

Authentic Italian menu; Napoli recipes; wood fire pizzas; Napoli owner and chefs. Imported wines and beers. Nice tables, excellent service.
This is an expensive restaurant which nearly deserves the high charge, but the service is far too fussy and spoils the experience, The waiters must not wait around like vultures for the moment one's plate is empty and keep fussing around the table with water and bread. They are over-trained but it is overdone and ultimately became just annoying
