Had a pizza here (Milan style, e.g. halfway between Roman and Neapolitan), but the restaurant menu promises more: what we ate was quite good, quantity is OK, overall quality seemed to be good. Pizza variety can satisfy almost all palates, from traditional picks to the house specials. The atmosphere is more compliant to a pizzaria than a restaurant, with little space among tables. Maybe it won't be the most romantic place to go, but in the end, it delivers. The prices are a bit over the average - 25 bucks for pizza+drinks+dessert, but nothing to blame here, mostly because sweets are a must-have.

Trattoria: "An informal restaurant or tavern serving simple Italian dishes". Almost true, as soon as actually they serve dishes simple enough, although some pretend to be chic or sophisticated. Supposedly, prices should have to be "informal" too, however, if you pick from the list (or something different from the daily menu), the informality ends up in a bit... At last, results are not bad, but, in my opinion, fail to light up a spark and call you for another ride. So, the overall score cannot be higher than average, letting apart the service, which was far below than that (maybe, we were just unlucky).

..Lâatmosfera elegante della locanda del â500 con la vista sul naviglio e sulle splendide ville storiche è la cornice che contraddistingue questo ristorante
Beautiful place, very high quality food and professional service. We have decided to try this restaurant for Valentineâs eve. There was a fixed menù, 2 starters, first course, second, dessert, coffee and water. All this just for 55 euros per person. Would definitely suggest this place!Need to be booked in advance via email or phone.

Maintained family atmosphere, and courteous service with a classic summer shade of a pergola. Specialty of the house: it's a carvery roast and boiled.Curato ambiente familiare, disponibilita e cortesia in un locale classico con servizio estivo all'ombra d
40 minutes' drive from Milan get you to this classic Lombard restaurant where you will be pampered - and exploited - like our fathers and grandfathers liked to be in the 1960s. The building, room and table setting are sophisticated and cozy, if traditionally fashioned. First courses were very pleasant: two of us had risotto with mushrooms (very good if a bit less cooked than we would have liked), the third had extremely good homemade gnocchi (potato dumplings) in a gorgonzola cheese and pistachios sauce, with perfect consistence and cooking, and potato flavour well present alongside the stronger taste of gorgonzola. The second course was their most known dish: a choice of cuts from a trolley of mixed boiled meats, including beef, beef tongue, chicken, cotechino, black pudding and a few more, surrounded by half a dozen different vegetable side dishes, including two kinds of mostarda (pickled/candied vegetables and fruits in a savoury, mustard seed flavoured syrup), boiled onions, cabbage leaves with anchovy and a couple others. Meats were good, if less surprising in flavour than gnocchi; side vegetables were better. Desserts were more standard. Overall, a pleasant experience including a good service by the owning family. The one matter spoiling the experience is that price transparency is also in tune with the 1960s. It was perfectly acceptable around Milan 50 years ago to go through a lunch blissfully free from annoying details such as a menu with prices. At Campari, this remains the old normal. We had a clear idea of what was expecting us, still we found annoying that side vegetables were priced separately, and drinks were a bit more expensive than we deem reasonable.

the place has an historical and magic touch and the owners are very interesting and very nice people . i found even common friends from old days , but in any event the place was quite fascinating and the meal, wines good, and the price correct.

Found by chance whilst driving along the Naviglio, we entered and found a very pleasant surprise. A totally refurbished old building had simple but tasteful tables and general décor; managed by a group of young men, they offer delicious local recipes at a very reasonable price. The food was lovely, the service informal and friendly, the choice of wine good and tempting. Local recipes are a must there.

Birra del Parco ha deciso di dare spazio alle eccellenze locali, utilizziamo nella nostra cucina solo materie prime stagionali e genuine prodotte dalle aziende agricole che da moltissimi anni operano sul territorio.
We went past Birra del Parco the week after it had opened. They had just closed unfortunately, but the guys invited us in to try some of their beer. The beer was great, and they even took us on a tour into the back where all the beer was brewed. Their enthusiasm was very nice, and I had a great time. I love the concept of creating great beer from locally produced ingredients, and will definately be coming back. Good luck!

Recently (re)opened, the restaurant welcomes you with a small and cozy atmosphere, very good overall quality, fresh products mostly belonging to local production (including wines), friendly and sincere service. As in its name, it does not promise french cuisine, but typical regional dishes, reinvented by its young cook and co-owner. In my opinion, food is tasty enough and its not overpriced: maybe the menu is a bit skimpy, and the monthly menu change could be a limit. Anyhow, here stand my humble suggestion: 1) you need to valorise your offer, customers need to be visually pampered (i.e.: dishes presentation) and 2) you need a workhorse, sometimes people come back just to have the same old slice of cake...

Ristorante di Cucina Tipica Italiana con Carne alla Griglia su Brace di Legna. Cene Romantiche. Luogo tranquillo e accogliente
I really loved this little restaurant unsuspectably located by the county road. Quaint, cosy, with bright warm porch and veranda and some sort of Provence style, was a strike of good luck. I ended up there by chance due to proxiity with a local clinic on a special day like this so I quite willingly welcomed a fixed and opulent menu that is not quite like me. However, despite a full house and a challenging 8 course menu they did quite well. Impeccable service, perfect rythm, friendly approach, every dish well prepared, accurate, well laid out and never banal. Special thanks to the staff that bravely welcomed my Great Dane of 80 kilos with a smile and sat us at the table by the kitchen door. As usual this show stopper conveniently sprawled on his mat drew the attention of all the kids but waitresses patiently mantained order and dodge them while serving. These days a true pet friendly restaurant is definitely a plus. Thanks and Merry Christmas !

Located a little outside of Cuggiono next to a river that runs all the way to Milano. Had lunch with my 2 cousins from Cuggiono and my wife and we all liked what we had for lunch. Service was good. They have an outside patio which would be great to have a lunch watching the river flow by with wine. Thanks you for your kind appreciation. It's a pleasure and a great satisfaction to see the smile at the end of lunch. Bye
