Kosher, diary. Magnificent view over the Galil mountains
The portions were very large so we erred in each ordering salad and pasta- no room for the scrumptious-looking desserts! They had some unusual pasta like beet gnocchi, which were cheese-filled, and chestnut ravioli. There was a good variety of food and what we ordered( salad, pasta) was very tasty. We were there on a winter night so we ate inside; it had a very simple decor. But given where it is located, probably does have a nice view as other reviews have noted.

They overbooked the restaurant, the onwer spoke in a very rude manner then called us lairs, saying we didn't order a place in advance, even though we did. We left even though a waiter or a host did offer us a table finally.

We were two families at lunch time ..the atmosphire was noisy because the restaurant was packed with people loud music in the back ground. The food was very good though a little expensive..we took two fille for the kids for almost 300 shekels!!! The hamburgers are great and steaks also.

The interior, the menu, the quality could well qualify for very good rating. However, it's service quality that draws fire. Our waitress was disinterested in providing service with a smile. After taking our order, the waiters changed between the dishes whereas our waitress kept on working. All our dishes were brought together so that the table couldn't accommodate them all. And of course after finishing the first course, we had to immediately take on the next one which has cooled down by then. No apologies were issued after we had clearly expressed our displeasure with the above. It's about time service quality is taken seriously by this restaurant.

Clean, casual setting with pleasant waiters and quick service. I was unfortunately quite underwhelmed with my choice of food as well as my wifes. There must be some other food that is better based on how other plates looked on other tables but I'm sorry that I didn't order something else. I had the fish salad which was a fillet of tilapia on top of a massive Israeli salad with tahini. The salad was enough for a family of 6 so it too bad that most of it went to waste. The fish was bland and required salt to be tasty, but even then it was not noteworthy. My wife had French toast that was nothing special either. The coffee was good.

Wonderful wonderful dishes. Everything was very tasty, served nicely and made to perfection.Prices are not cheap, but defenetly fair for the quality, size and taste.Service was nice but not perfect: we have pre-ordered a place but there was not a ready table for us although there were free tables in the restaurant. We were compensated for the delay with some good wine.

I had a delicious lamb burger there. And everyone else in my party liked what they had. As others have said, the portions are generous and can be shared.

We've got big chunks of meat of a good quality and perfectly done. Our meal was accompanied by a house wine, that surprisingly was french and not very expensive. Attentive service and pleasant atmosphere. Prices - usual high, but whete they are not in our country?

âShiri Bistroâ (a.k.a Pina BaRosh)is a French rural chef restaurant in the old restoration site of Rosh Pina, Israel. The menu is plentiful and combines principles from the French cuisine with local ingredients and flavors. More than 20 years ago, Chef Sh
Worth a visit if youâre in or near Rosh Pina for the tranquil setting and beautiful view. Three-star food + one additional star for the setting. We also got takeout one night, which was a bad idea since the food doesnât hold up without the view, the food wasnât packed well, and there were no utensils.Dear TravelDad,I'm glad you did enjoy at the evening that you did eat here and regarding the takeout, sorry that it did not work as well. We were short of utensils indeed and will make sure it won't happen again. All the best.

The restaurantâs rich menu offers a range of delicacies, specializing in home-smoked meat and fish, exclusive first courses including the famous chestnut soup served in the winter, and, of course, classic main courses such as fresh veal fillet steak, fres
Four of us had dinner at Auberge Shulamit as we were in Rosh Pina on a Friday night, and not many restaurants were open. Two of us ordered the sea bream âtagine,â which had no Moroccan flavors at all. Perhaps it got that name because the rice came out in a conical shape. The fish was just fine, but it was served in too heavy a cream sauce. My husband had the chestnut ravioli, and while the pasta was quite tasty, it came in too heavy an Alfredo sauce. We started with the traditional Israeli appetizer of âbread with dips,â which were quite disappointing. It was just 3 dips, and only the pesto was good. The fourth member of our party ordered a shrimp dish, which she said was quite dull. We all agreed that the best part of the meal were the cucumbers in the salad we shared. Despite the fact that the restaurant was not full, our waiter was not very attentive or efficient.
