The Pantry Cafe, Deli and Cookery School was established in 1982 by home economics teacher Imelda Bourke, and since then has earned a reputation as one of Kilkee's best food emporia, right in the heart of town. The cafe is open from Easter to the end of S
Stopped for lunch on our small bus tour. Great food, including vegetarian options and desert. The fish pie was excellent.

We were on a 3 night stay with friends in their Kilkee Holiday home and toured the whole area. Visited Trump Golf Club in Doonbeg for a drink but dined in Tubridy's Restaurant. Very pleasant staff and excellent service. Food very good food but really it is too expensive.

The staff here are amazing, very adaptable and attentive without being helicopters. Not allowing reservations is super frustrating. The food was pretty good, but there are literally no main courses that are vegetarian on the menu. Yes, I know it's a seafood restaurant but this tag on trip advisor that says 'vegetarian friendly' is a TAG OF LIES. On asking, they could provide 'a chicken curry, made vegetarian' which gives me great confidence about how authentically made that chicken curry is; or I could have some taglietelle with a tomato sauce. They put parmesan on it, without asking, which is made from cow stomach so isn't actually vegetarian... le sighNEVERTHELESS great staff, great location and my friend's fish with chorizo was apparently great. Chips were done to perfection

I enjoyed this course. It was in nice condition but has some blind tee shots. There are white markers on the fairways to give you a line though. At 15 Euros for a round it was reasonably priced, and they are welcoming to visitors. One strange thing is that they close the clubhouse/restaurant at 3.30pm on a Friday! Yet I was told there was a competition later at 5.00pm for members. I'd like to play again now that I know the layout.
My wife and I stopped into Tubridy's in Cooraclare for a break from the long drive down from Galway. We had soup and the traditional bacon and cabbage diner. People in the pub section were having a sing along. We were fascinated and decided to stay the night, even though we had booked a room in Doonbeg. We had some pints of Guinness and enjoyed ourselves a great deal. What a lot of fun it was with everyone singing. It was some get together of the local football team, \I think.

What better way to turn a visit to the Vandeleur Walled Garden into a full celebration of the senses than by dining at our very own Woodland Bistro? Greet the day with a scrumptious, hearty breakfast, enjoy a light and flavourful lunch or simply take time
Located in the courtyard before entering the gardens this cafe offers cakes, drinks and much more. We had a drink and cake at a very reasonable price and service with a smile and really enjoyed it. Go to the gardens as well. They are free to go in and there is also a huge array of plants for sale at great prices.

Crotty's is currently listed as "Hotels & B&Bs" on your website. They now do food at lunchtime and in the evenings and deserve a Restaurant listing.
Popped in here for an evening meal. Nice homely pub , loads of character, looked like a good pub to have a few pints . I had the battered fish and chips which was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, prices also fine. Ignore the snippy comments from other reviews, you wonât go wrong with a meal here. A1.

We provide good food and good value. A taste of Ireland with a bit of an American Twist. Casual dining. Dress Casual. Family friendly. Follow us on Facebook as well.
Traditional hearty food and very friendly service. Separate bar area. No fuss place with all you would expect on the menu. Crab cakes were very good and great handcut chips, none of them horrible oven chips here. Wine was good, reasonable prices and no rush. Thank you for taking the time to review us. So pleased you enjoyed all aspects of your visit. Ginny
