Situated in the heart of medieval Ennis. This is a modern restaurant that serves fresh locally sourced produce. Wonderful to visit for a light bar meal during the day or more inventive cuisine in the evenings.
Starter of prawn tempura had to be returned twice due to the batter not being cooked through both time (was very concerned the prawns may not have been cooked through as well), Onion ring served with steak also had the same issue and steak was slightly over cooked for a medium steak, Dessert was lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful and did not charge for the starters and offered my wife a complimentary drink.Thank You so Much for your feed back Redteel. I really am sorry that the prawns werent cooked right. The Wild Pink Prawn Tempura is our most favorite & top seller on the Menu. I assure you most people really love it. Sincere apologies on behalf of Chef too. I really hope it didnt spoil the evening for you.RegardsJimmy

Rowan Tree Café Bar is in the most beautiful location overlooking the river Fergus in the centre of Ennis. Our building is one of the oldest in Ennis, a former Gentleman's Club built in 1740, steeped in history and character where our high ceilings, open
Had a good experience here when we visited Ennis. Sat out on the terrace overlooking the river Fergus with our dog and the staff were very good to serve us and to make sure we were not left waiting long even though they were very busy. The food was lovely, i had the pasta bolognaise and my partner had the fish and chips which he said was equally as good.

Husband and I came here slightly hungover wandering the streets of ennis looking for an all day breakfast. We most certainly came to the right spot. It was great. Such a charming place and the staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I even watched how they interacted with each other and other customers. Very polite and professional. Will be back

Dined on a busy Saturday night and was fortunate to sit next to a great local couple who we talked to all through dinner. Ribs were great as recommended to us by our new local friends. Pub is lively and busy but staff comes by regularly and makes sure you have enough to drink and eat. Enjoyed our dinner.

This is a very traditional Irish pub, complete with dark wood fittings and furniture. Itâs also a very popular and very noisy place, absolutely packed when we visited on a Friday evening. Fortunately we got there early and got the last available table. Staff were really friendly though and did not try to rush us. We ordered from the Daily Specials menu and the food was actually really good, better than I was expecting.

I visited Cafe Aroma with my daughter recently. She had the full Irish and I had my favourite,Eggs Benedict. The service was excellent, we were seated almost immediately and though it was busy we had our order taken within minutes of being seated. The staff were smiling and friendly, the service was excellent and the food was to die for. Highly recommend Cafe Aroma. Great food, great staff, great vibe.

Relaxed meal with excellent service. Six of us out for a special evening and very enjoyable. Starters were very decent portions, great variety to choose from and delicious. The entrees were equally impressive, with great flavours all âround. Desserts were mouth-watering and every dish was beautifully presented. We were very well looked after by our server, who was attentive without being intrusive and was great sport in taking photos, which weâll treasure with great memories of a wonderful night out! Would recommend to anyone. Good prices for great food. Will be back!

A new Bistro and Wine Bar in Ennis, modern Irish cuisine & Good service, serving Lunch & Dinner Wednesday to Sunday.
7 of us dined at Henry's Bistro on Friday 4th. October and all were complimenting with superlatives e.g. best, greatest, finest, succulent, delicious etc. I opted for Scampi and chips and it was outstanding. Rest of the party varied with Beef, Lamb, Scampi ( on my advice). All agreed that that the meals were high on the list of best and outstanding value, for portions, quality food and outstanding service. On our arrival, we were greeted by the wonderful Lisa, who is so knowledgeable, friendly and highly efficient. We were served by a young Lady and Gent, who capped the night with their friendliness, efficiency and great sense of humour. Many thanks Lisa and the Henry's Bistro Family. Incidentally! The place was packed, so booking is essential and casual diners - sadly -had to find alternatives.Hi 791aidanw,Thanks very much for your most recent post, lovely to have everyone back with us again. Thanks for your support.Dermot & all the Team.P.S. Lisa also thanks you very much.
