Dalkey (/ˈdɔːkiː/; Irish: Deilginis, meaning "thorn island") is one of the most affluent suburbs of Dublin, and a seaside resort southeast of the city, and the town of Dun Laoghaire, in Ireland. he restaurant opened in 1957 and is run by chef Jérome Fernandes. We specialise in fresh fish, lobster, beef, lamb, chicken, duck. Every day we offer early bird, 4 course dinner including a bottle of wine at â¬89 per couple, full a la carte , full licence,
No need to travel too far to experience French class cuisine. It is now in Dalkey with the new team led by French Chef Jerome Fernandes! The new classy and fresh look given to the façade has been applied inside too with Bistro style white wooden palissades, transforming old shabby into clean lines. We took the discovery menu, which includes a bottle of wine and four course menu for two at 89 euros and found it excellent! The service was efficient and courteous - not intrusive. It was quite romantic and we will be back!!

Went to Queens today.. ordered the bangers and mash. It was disgusting. Sauce was like packet sauce, Sausages were off and hard, mash was flavourless and meaty.. No decent selection of wine. My friend had the salmon and the bread wasn't fresh. How can you go so wrong on a simple dish is beyond me? Worst mash I've had. Sorry but not good enough. Regretted paying money for food I wouldn't give my dog. Normally don't bother with reviews, but just had to this time. Massive mistake. Won't be going back.

I got told about their Sunday roast, I wasn't disappointed!! being greeted by a bubbly host, fabulous roast with both mash and roasties! I finished with a yummy homemade crumble, loved the white chocolate ice cream! Over all we had an amazing lunch and we were very well looked after, I even had book our next dinner before I left. Visiting Dublin Ireland with friends and took a day trip to the coastal town of Dalkey. After exploring the castle and surrounding area, we stopped in for an early dinner at Ouzo's Steak & Seafood restaurant on Castle Street. We were just in time for the Early Dinner Menu with 2 courses for â¬24. My starter order of buffalo wings was a generous portion fried crispy to perfection in a tangy sauce. The grilled hake entree was light and flaky and came with a side of grilled vegetables. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly and the atmosphere warm and inviting. It clearly is a favorite among locals as the dining room quickly filled up during our stay. Treat yourself to a great meal here next time you're in the area.

This charming bistro style seafood restaurant is well worth a visit. The owner, Peter Caviston, as utterly charming and his deli store next door, probably the best I have seen anywhere in Ireland.Caviston's has been there for decades, has a loyal local clientele and caters perfectly for visitors. Fresh, fresh seafood and shellfish. The crab mayonnaise is outstanding.

A public house, family owned and run in the village of Dalkey. We serve lunch from 12.30-3.30 everyday.
If you find yourself in Dalkey (and you should), spend sometime at Finnegans's. We had lunch here as we made our way along the Irish coast on the DART. The food was good and the service prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this place. Very close to the station; prices were reasonable.

We found this place because we're staying at Fitzpatrick Castle and was looking for some good food. We found it! The food was top notch and the service was friendly and attentive without being invasive. The steak was cooked perfectly and the warm goat cheese salad was absolutely delicious. Do your self a favor and have a pint or two, craic, and wonderful food in this beautiful pub.

DeVille's is located on the main street in the old heritage town of Dalkey. Born out of a love of food and the ceremony of dining out, its joint owners brother and sister Kim and David O'Driscoll serve moderately priced, traditional bistro fare seven nigh
Had a great evening recently with a friend. Couldn't make my mind up on a main, so had lots of starters instead! Oysters, Chili Squid, Lambs kidneys and then the sautéed prawns to finish. All were fantastic, oysters shucked really well, kidneys lovely and tender and prawns plump and juicy. Tried some really good white wines by the glass. Friend only had 3 starters as they had forgotten one of his dishes. All good though and we had a great night as usual here.
