The Drift Inn bar and restaurant Buncrana is one like no other, set against the windswept banks of the Lough Swilly it stands out as a main vocal point on entrance to the town. The Drift Inn has a history which many will agree compares to no other bars in
Lovely pub this one. We went in for food but they don't serve on a Tuesday. Nevertheless we stayed for a few drinks. The Guinness is magnificent. Lovely and quiet with a really homely, cosy atmosphere. Love the low light, so relaxing. Very quirky decor. Good fun and a great outdoor area at the back.

Being at this lovely quaint cafe b efore I brought my sister for the first time. Had tea and cake served lovely. Then not even there 5 minutes had to move to let the corner table out. That was fine. One minute later had to move to let the next tea goers in. Then within 30 seconds had to move again to let the waitress in to clear the same table. I told her this is the 3rd time I had moved in 5 minutes her response " I need to clear the table". I figured I am going to have to move to let her out and move again for her to bring the tea in . 5 times that would be. I wanted a relaxing and well deserved cup of tea. Wasn't getting it here so decided to leave . The waitress not understanding at all. Gone down in my estimation. Such a shame

So happy to find this lovely coffee shop. They offer coffee, sweets, and flatbreads, but I was especially pleased with the vegan options. I had the vegan flatbread, which came with a small side salad, and a bottle of kombucha made here in Donegal. The service was very friendly and relaxed. We came back the next morning and they remembered I was vegan! We got an oat milk latte (almond milk was also available) and the vegan ginger-chocolate spiced cake. Delicious. Thank you for a great two visits!

Sunday early evening family meal. Very friendly and chatty with nice relaxed vibe. We had both of the specials that were on the board. The sea trout and pork were both good, the kids options were the usual fair. 3* for the food, 5* for the service so 4* over all.

NOT just a retaurant.pub/takeout place, though it is all that. This place has three rooms upstairs and is a great out of the way B&B. Restaurant open for breakfast for only the guests as far as we could tell -- and the quality and quantity of breakfast offers reflected the fact that the chef did not have that much else to do. This is THE place o stay closest to Malin Head. There's a pub a quarter of a mile north that means this is not the northernmost eat and drink establishment, but it IS the only close place to stay if you want early morning/late evening views of the northern tip of the island.

Stopped in for lunch after walking round malin head and cant say enough good things about this bar.Staff incredibly friendly and the half crab half prawn open sandwich was incredible .Definaletly worth a visit if you are anywhere near and whoever made the sandwich obviously takes great pride in it.
This garage/deli/cafe is open under the Applegreen banner about 2 or 3 years now. When it opened first it was probably the cheapest place for fuel in Inishowen, but not anymore. However itâs not the dearest either. Inside there is a cafe/deli with friendly staff. Itâs clean, comfortable and reasonably priced, and there is no shortage of parking. Unfortunately I have two problems with this place. Firstly, one has to get a key and go outside, around the corner, to use the toilet, which isnât exactly spotless, and secondly, they charge 1 Euro to check your tyre pressure.

Had dinner with 2 other family members. Service welcoming and efficient. Drinks and food order arrived promptly and all 3 meals were delicious and great value. Have eaten here many times when in the area and never have had a poor meal or service. Definitely give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
