Friendly owner shying away from publicity supplying great crepes in a unusual outlet, enjoy a seafood dinner in many of the towns restaurants but come here for desert.
We serve Spanish and Irish food. Come and enjoy some delicious tapas with a refreshing Spanish wine! We will wait for you.
Have gone multiple times with my mum for lunch. Excellent value and delicious food. Seafood in particular is great, my favourite is the haddock cooked in olive oil and garlic. Theyâve other options as well. The chicken cordon bleu is so tasty and made from scratch. They also make their own french fries, be sure to have some.

My wife and I stopped in to relax and recharge over a cup of coffee, after a drive through the Healy Pass, and a meander to Castletownbere. The setting is cheery, the staff was warm and friendly, and the coffee was fresh, hot, and good. Patrons seemed to be a mixture of locals as well as travelers like ourselves-- all seemed at ease.

We were in Castletownbere on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, there was a wedding in town and all of the eating establishments were full or had reservations. We were allowed to eat outside at Breen's Lobster Bar. There was no lobster on the menu and it was cold outside. When we first approached Breen's the waitress had to get permission from the cook to even serve us. The food we did eat was good but pricey.

Drinking good wine with good food in good company is one of life's most civilized pleasures." - Michael Broadbent Our restaurant follows these simple principles: quality ingredients locally sourced cooked to perfection served with highest standards
Have eaten (dined) here many times now & can honestly say that we have NEVER been disappointed. Mark, Grace & the girls really make you feel welcome from the get-go. A very comfortable pre-dinner drinks area followed by excellent service & of course Mark's special cooking come together to always provide an unrivaled local experience. They have recently doubled the size of the outside area so on warm days or balmy evenings its a great location to enjoy the views.Of course you can also find Mark enjoying his well-earned Guinness after long shifts in his hot kitchen or around his massive outside braai & enjoy a sound conversation about food or sport especially rugby....but dont mention the Boks recent performance at RWC !Dear WishIWasSailing,Now that I have typed your user name, I wish I was sailing too!We are delighted you enjoyed your visits and look forward to welcoming you many times more.Let's hope we all get the RWC 2019 results we want.Regards,Grace
