Daytime cafe & foodhall - organic meat, dinners, home baking, reasonable prices, deli, all day breakfast.
Stopped in here while cycling through Stradbally. The premises itself is very nice, nicely decorated, well furnished and clean. Because I was cycling I just had something small, scrambled egg, bacon, toast and tea. It was very nice but I did think that the portion size of the scrambled egg was a bit on the small size. The menu is fairly extensive and an impressive selection of cakes etc. Staff where friendly and efficient and prices are what I would expect to pay. On the whole a very nice experience, I would definitely go back the next time Iâm passing through.

Very pleasant establishment and nice staff with a relaxed atmosphere. We went for Brunch which was lovely however the menu was very limited to 4 options of which two were pancakes with just different toppings. I think the Old Yard will do extremely well and I would give it 5 stars if the menu was a little longer and broader in its offering . I will return for sure. We regularly get takeaway from Deelish but on this rare occasion we managed time to visit the restaurant for a sit down meal. Presentation was excellent, the food was fantastic, we even managed some of their lovely desserts. The staff were both attentive and friendly, really enjoyed our visit.

The Green Barn combines large open spaces with high ceilings and expansive wall spaces, with movable panelled partitions to create that more intimate perfect space for any size of group. This all opens out onto an exterior terrace, and again into a series
Visited with family 4 adults and 3 gkids. Very pleasant walk through sculpture and flowers in gardens. Shared salad and bread starters for lunch. Main courses fish, pork, and beef with vegetables very tasty. Had to wait a while for desserts and coffee, but offered them on house. Good value and good service.

A group of 40 of us stopped off for cake and tea. Service excellent (pre-booked). Staff really friendly, yet professional. Well worth a visit and prices very reasonable. Menu looked great as well and the breakfast being served to customers looked very appetising... ENJOY!

Eight of us had a really good meal, mainly burgers but very good with all the trimmings. Portions quite large.

Cafe Restaurant serving Irish Food prepared in house, Specialising in Gluten Free. we also provide outside catering
I consider this to be the best cafe in Athy. They have more gluten free options than I have seen in most other places. They close at 5 which might be strange for people used to longer city opening hours but if you get there early it is worth it. The prices are good too considering they have so many gluten free options.
